I will miss the sweet smell of cinnamon toast on Saturday mornings, the sound of my Father strumming at his guitar with such passion, the magnets on the fridge and the paintings of my grandmother but most of all I will miss them.
For four hours I stared at the window
of the taxi watching raindrops racing down the foggy glass. The darkness from outside was lit by exploding bolts of lighting and the crackle of thunder every few seconds. Crows sat above the rusty metal gates covered in vines, they flew away in a racked as the tall gates began to creak open.
