A/N: Alright to any of the few that may have read this story before,  I've reworked this chapter!

I started this story back in high school (I'm now 25, it's been a while since I've touched this story haha) and it was definitely overly angsty and cliche in the beginning, so I rewrote the cringe beginnings, but I am keeping the later chapters because I actually do like where my story line was going, so this is my only rewritten chapter, though my next chapters may be slightly altered to fix any inconsistencies!

Hope you enjoy the improved story! <3

Margot stared at the thin rays of light cast against her ceiling, she had slept terribly the night before. Not that it was much different than any other night.

She was used to not sleeping well, it came with the territory of being an unhappy 16 year old. She pulled a pillow over her head, trying her hardest to block out the horrid morning light and attempting to will herself to go back to sleep.

There was a loud know on her door, Margot let out a groan hoping that if she ignored them they would just go away.

*KNOCK KNOCK*

"God damn it." She mumbled under her breath, so much for trying to get some rest.

She got up from bed, walking over to the door and cracking it open. "Yes?" As much as she wanted to be pissy, she knew better than to give attitude in this household.

"Someone's here to talk to us, something about relocating you." A tall and thin blonde lady named Anne said.

Anne was the most recent person in charge of Margot, she was nice enough, and for the most part left Margot alone as long as she stayed out of trouble.

"Relocating? Where? Why?" Margot had so many questions. They usually give her a heads up or a notice for something like this.

Anne just shrugged, "dunno, all I know is you need to come out and talk to him."

Margot nodded, opening up her door all the way and following her into the dining area, where a very unpleasant looking man was waiting.

"Miss Warner I presume?" He asked in a drawling tone. His hair was black and greasy looking, he was definitely an intimidating man.

"Um, yeah I'm Margot Warner." Her voice was faint, but loud enough to reach him. He didn't seem like the usual office type that came to see her when she was getting transferred to a new home, he seemed... odd.

She observed his features while she waited for a response, his nose was a bit pointy and slightly crooked, and he was wearing strange clothes, almost like a judge or an old school college teacher.

"I am Professor Snape, I'm here to pass on the information of your transfer." His voice never changing from that original drawling tone.

Well this guy seemed like loads of fun.

She paused for a moment before answering, he made her nervous for some reason. "Professor? They usually send one of the case workers for transfers.." she trailed off, something was definitely off about this guy.
