I walked to the door and opened it for Luke to walk through first which he did, I walked out and locked it shut, then I followed Luke to his home. He opened the door and walked straight in, partly shutting the door on my face. I don't think Luke and I are going to get along.

"Welcome Alana, you can finally meet Andrew my husband, Ben doesn't live with us but you will meet him one day, he just randomly visits." She smiled as she walked over to me giving me a huge hug, it took me a few seconds to process then I hugged her tightly back. I wish Cindy and Richard were more like this.

We let go of the hug and walked over to the dining table where they were serving mashed potato, peas and sausage. Mm yum 😒. I can't eat red meat let alone sausage, it makes me gag. I'll just have to put up with it and not be rude.

"Thanks for inviting me to dinner." I smiled as I walked over to the only empty seat, next to jack. "Hi Andrew, I'm Alana nice to meet you." I smiled as I sat down. "Nice to meet ya." He said back, with his thick Australian accent.

We talked over dinner, I got to know the family very well. Just not Luke he was a mystery and didn't seem so fond of me. We packed up dinner, I grabbed my plate, I also grabbed Luke's and Jacks and the cutlery. I walked over to the kitchen, "Alana you didn't have to help." She said grabbing all the things out of my hands and packing them in the dishwasher.

"I had to help, you shouldn't do it by yourself."
"The boys never help, it's fine."
"It must suck just living with boys." I laughed a little sitting on the counter top.
"Yeah it does, it's nice having you here. It's like having the daughter I wanted." - "Well Alana we need to fill out the sheets so you can start tomorrow.

"Yeah sure." I jumped off the counter and dusted off the back of my jeans and walked with liz to the living room. We sat down next to the coffee table, and she had some sheets set along, with her laptop close by. Luke was on the other couch just glaring at us-me. He tried watching TV, apparently we were making to much noise and he left upstairs.  I rolled my eyes, his attitude is so immature, he could at least act more low key about it.

"Okay Alana what subjects do you what to do?" "You can select 4, and you have to do math and English."
I grabbed the pen sitting on the coffee table, and filled in the sheet, I picked 'dance' 'music' 'fashion' and 'itd'
"Oh and Alana you have to pick math or math extension."
I took the pen and picked core math, I suck. Extension would be so hard.
"Okay well, since I'm your guardian at the moment, I will sign this. I also need your da- Richards number and Cindys."

"Umm... 04******** and Cindys is 04********"
"Okay" she said as she wrote the numbers down.
"Okay you're done."she smiled cleaning up the booklets and putting them in a pile.

"Go home and get some rest, we have to leave at 7:30am ..-.. Since you have to get your uniform." "Oh and Alana, you can join an after school activity, like cheer, soccer, netball, basketball." She said as I walked out saying goodbye. I don't want to go to school, I haven't been to a real school since year 7. I put my phone and laptop on charge, I got my pencils, pens, rubbers and sharper. I also grabbed the only empty lined paper book I have and put it on my backpack. I set my alarm for 6:45am.

I went to bed pretty early, I wore a maroon bralette and black pyjama bottoms, the last time I checked the clock it was 8:37.
