Tagging along for Warped tour! {Sequel to For better or worse}

Last day of school

Lyric's POV
{they left us alone the kids in the dark-}
I turned my phone alarm off and jumped out of bed I was so excited today was the last day of school.
And in 2 days I'll be going on warped tour with my dad.
I ran into my closet and picked out an outfit. I then ran and did my hair. I curled it and in the process burned my hand twice.
After my hair was done I did my make up a little bit of foundation, mascara, and eyeliner, I also threw on light baby pink lipstick.
I then went to go throw my cloths on that i had planned out for the day. I put on a white lace crop top, with some light pink shorts, and finished it off with white low-rise converse.
"Lyric honey your going to be late!" i heard my mom yell from downstairs.
"I'm coming!" I yelled grabbing my white and brown book bag.
I walked downstairs and into the kitchen. I grabbed my favorite cereal which was froot loops. I sat down next to my brother Blake.
"Ly you're going to have to pick up Blake today after school." my mother said.
I just nodded and kept on eating my cereal until i felt my phone buzz with a text. I puled out my phone and read the text message.

Cope- you almost ready?

Me- yeah just finished breakfast.

Cope- okay can u pick me up? plz!!!!

Me- yeah be there in 10!
I then put my phone away and finished up the rest of my cereal. I put my bowl in the sink and hugged my mom goodbye. and grabbed my bag from off the chair, on the way out dad appeared. I gave him a kiss on the cheek.
"Bye dad!" I yelled walking out the house and to my car.
I hopped into the car and started to blast some Never Shout Never. There song Harmony came on. I then drove over to Copelands house.
I finally pulled up to her house and beeped. She came running out of her house like her life depended on it.
"AHHHH GUESS WHAT!!!" she screamed damn shes really loud.
"okay what before you blow my eardrums!" I said.
"Guess who's joining you on Warped Tour!!!" She screamed while I screamed along with her.
"Watch the road!" She screamed, I looked ahead of us and saw that the car in-front of us stopped I pressed on the brakes right away.
"OH SHIT!!!!" I screamed.
"YOU COULD HAVE KILLED US!!!!" She yelled.
"Sorry Sorry!" i yelled back.
It was silent for a good 10 minutes. The we both busted out laughing. After our laughter died down we pulled into the school parking lot.
We grabbed our book-bags and got out the car. We walked into the school and went to our lockers where we found our two best guy friends Ethan and Hunter.
"Sup guys." I said to them.
"Sup" They both replied.
I turned to get the books I needed to hand in to the teachers in my locker. Which was only two books because the rest of or classes used Ipads.
"You still haven't returned those books?" Ethan asked me.
"Nope totally blanked on returning them." I explained.
He nodded and we both walked away from the other two since the bell rang. See me and Ethan had all of our classes together, and Cope and Hunter had all there classes together.
We walked into our first class which was English and sat down in the back as usual. Everybody was walking around talking while me and Ethan kept to our selves.
The class time flew by and we walked to our next class which was our last one for the day since we only had half a day. This class was the exact same as the last. Then it was time to head to the lunchroom.
We walked in and saw Copeland and Hunter sitting at our regular table. We went over to them and sat down.
"Do you guys wanna just ditch Lunch we have nothing else after this anyway?" Hunter asked.
We all looked at each other and nodded, we all stood up and walked out of the school. I walked over to my car while the boys walked over to Ethan's car.
I was about to pull out the lot when Ethan pulled up next to my car.
"Wanna go to go to the park?" He asked. I nodded my head 'yes'.
"Let's race!" Hunter exclaimed.
I modded and got ready to take off.
"1,2,3,GO" Copeland shouted.
And with that we took off, we were going head and head, but then there was a sharp turn we would have to make and I pulled ahead. We finally reached the park and I won.
"WHAT NOW BITCHES ME AND COPE WON!!!" I yelled.
They just flipped us off and got out of the car. Me and Cope just laughed.
"Lyric Olivia Perry!" I heard someone scream my name I turned around and saw my dad there with my uncles Mike and Vic. And Mike's son Dylan.
Shit. Well were screwed. I looked over at Cope and saw that she had the same expression.
"Aren't you two suppose to be in school?" Vic asked.
We nodded our heads 'yes'. And he just shook his head while Mike just chuckled. I looked over at dad and waited for a lecture that I knew i was going to get.
"And why aren't you two there?" Dad asked.
I looked over at Cope and she just looked back at me.
"Okay I'm going to let it slide." Dad said.
I snapped my head over to him to see if he was joking but he wasn't.
"Okay where is my REAL dad." I said with big eyes.
My uncles and dad just laughed.
"It's the last day and I remember doing that when we were young." Tony said and Mike and Vic nodded.
I just nodded and looked at Ethan and Hunter they were trying to hold in there laughter until they finally let it all out.
I just flipped them off and laughed a little to.
"Well head home okay. Don't tell your mom I found you." Dad said.
I nodded and hopped in the car and headed home with Cope also with the boys.
