*Niall's POV*

I awoke at a large shout. Bleary eyed and disorientated, my eyes came into focus onto what unearthly creature had made that wretched noise that woke me up. Then it all came back to me. Speaking to Hane about waiting until the time was right. Making things officially unofficial, yet almost marking her as mine. Her asking me to stay with her.

Sleeping next to her. And now, her confused face.

That was most definitely NOT unearthly, at least not in any bad way. It was gorgeous, she looked adorable.

However, her focus was on the four boys standing around her bed. Looking quite intimidating, I must say.

"Hane, you wear glasses? How interesting.." Harry pretended to note it down in an imaginary notebook.

"Irrelevant." She was fuming. Fuming and pissed off. To say the least.

Liam obviously noticed this too. "Whoah calm down, someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning.."

She short straight back, "Well actually, if YOU hadn't been here, I would not have been rudely awoken by four fifths of One Direction who may or may not have snuck into my house without my permission, and therefore I would be in a perfectly acceptable mood at this time in the morning. So it's your own fault."

I took her hand, calming her down. Well, attempting to. We knew she was a heavy sleeper like Zayn, but she obviously was not a morning person either.

Harry spoke up. "To answer your question earlier, dearest Hane, ignoring the fact that we found your not-so-subtle hiding place for the spare keys-"

Louis added in," under the doormat, really? Cliche Hane, cliche."

Harry continued "- we thought we'd come up and see what happened last night. But I think the question is what didn't happen last night?"

Louis waggled his eyebrows, whilst Zayn let out a deep, throaty chuckle.

"Nothing happened. Now go annoy someone else" I retorted, and settled back down under the covers, pulling Hane closer to me as I did so.

So what did Harry do? Well, since him and Hane seemed to be growing a 'love/hate/brother/sister' relationship thing, he came and joined us on the bed, sitting cross-legged on the duvet. "C'mon, surely something happened last night. You wouldn't be spooning if it hadn't."

I saw Hane blush slightly as I gave him a glare. A glare that said 'watch it, and I'll tell you later.'

He understood. Liam, however, didn't. "Well then if nothing happened then I guess you won't be wanting the backstage pass we managed to scrounge for Hane tonight at our final concert in Glasgow then?" He fake sighed. "Such a shame.."

I chuckled. "Fine. I'll tell you." I squeezed Hane's hand to reassure her I knew what I was doing. "We went on a date. We talked things over, we know where we stand, and then we came home. Hane fell asleep, I carried her up here and then fell asleep myself. Happy?"

"But what does 'know where we stand' mean?"

They were obviously not 'happy'.

Ever curious, and already slightly protective of her, Harry of course wanted to know more.

However Hane surprised me by speaking up. "We're officially unofficial. Only you guys, two of my friends, and sort of my parents know about us. And that's the way it is staying, at least for the moment. Are you happy NOW?"

They all nodded. I realised Zayn had been very quiet. He was studying her room, what books she had, the photos on her walls.. He caught my eye, and I could tell what he was saying. He was saying she was special. Zayn's good at understanding people like that. I grinned at him, a slight nod of "I know".
