The last concert

The day had come. The day you didn't wanted to happen cause you knew after this day nothing was going to be the same. Everything will change. Nothing will be like it was a few years ago.

It was their last concert. You knew it. A few month ago they announced that this would be last of them. They wanted to move on with their life and live just like normal people. They wanted some privacy and start a family.

This was going to be the last One Direction concert. You had tickets for their last show and went with your best friends.

In the morning you woke up with the thought of it. You just wanted to cry. You didn't knew what would expect you. They said they'd sing different songs off all their albums. You made yourself ready to pick up your friends and drive to the arena.

When you finally arrived you heard all the fans. Some of them crying, screaming, laughing or singing the old songs. You turned around to your best friends to see their eyes filled with tears. You tried to hold them back which was really hard for you.

You went to the queue and waited. You talked about the good old times where everything seemed perfect. You could finally go inside the arena. You stood there with your friends. It was the same arena you went to your first concert of them.

You looked around and saw that the arena was almost filled. You still had half an hour till the concert started. You took out your phone and made some pictures with your friends. You had a selfie of every concert you went.

The concert started punctual and the boys came on stage. One by one. First who came was Harry. He wore a black shirt and black skinny jeans. Then came Louis. He wore a black tank top and black skinny jeans. Then you saw Liam coming on stage. He wore a black shirt with a plaid red shirt on top of it. Then came Niall. He wore also a black shirt just like the other guys. They stood together and you expected them to start singing when you saw Zayn coming from the back. He wore a white shirt and black jeans. The fans started screaming even more when Zayn was standing next to the guys. You didn't know he was coming. You haven't seen him with the guys since he left the band.

The band started to play and they began to sing Moments. You remembered the first time you heard that song. The lyric fitted just perfectly with the current situation. "If we could only have this life for one more day. If we could only turn back time."

You sang the song with all your heart while the tears streamed down your face. After a few songs and speeches of the boys they were just sitting on stage and watching all their fans while they were singing the last part of Little Things. After the fans finished singing the boys stood up and Harry was walking to the front stage. You could see the tears he had in his eyes just like the other boys, which were standing behind him.

"You guys are the best fans we could ask for. You've always been there for us no matter what happened. We really can't thank you enough for all your support through all these years. We love you guys so much. You mean the world to us. Thank you."

After he talked Liam went to Harry. "You are the most incredible fans in the world. No one can top you guys, you're so amazing. I don't even have enough words to say how great you are. We really appreciate all the support you gave us all these beautiful years. Without you we wouldn't be where we are now. When we made our decision we were in a conflict with ourselves. We all said that it'd be good for us to get a bit more privacy and to make new projects and maybe start a family. But we also thought so much about you. You've been here for us every single minute for the last years. We didn't wanted to let you down, but in some case we just had to say 'this is the end'."

The tears were streaming down their faces as they tried to explain the reasons they split up. You kind off understood them. After all these years they only had one longer break and they had to work so hard. They put all their effort in everything they've done just to make you happy. And even if there won't be a new album or single or tour of them you'd still support them. You had their albums and all the memories and for you that was enough cause you couldn't thank them more.

They've gone with you through all these years. You grew up with them and they taught you how to be yourself. They taught you to stay strong and believe in yourself. They made the last years so beautiful. You've become the person you always wanted to be cause they showed you how.

They started to play Don't Forget Where You Belong. You were holding hands with your friends around you as you sang the lyrics which meant so much to you. They were your home. They were your second family. All the new friends you made through them all the sister and brothers you got. It all meant so much to you. They were your home, your family. They were there for you and listened to you. They understood you when no one else could. You always felt safe in your family.

After they finished the song they went from stage but you knew that it wasn't over. It took two minutes when Harry came back on stage. You thought the others would probably come after him. The band started to play and when you heard the music you couldn't believe it. Harry was standing there with his mic and starting to sing Isn't she lovely. The song he sang for his audition at X-Factor.

After he finished he sat down on the stairs at the back off the stage and Louis came. He sang Hey There Delilah. You heard him and you automatically had to think of the good old X-Factor times. It made you smile and you just enjoyed listening to his voice.

When he finished singing he sat down next to Harry and Zayn came on stage. He stood in the middle of the stage when he started singing Let Me Love You. It felt so good to hear his voice and you couldn't stop yourself from screaming. As he finished he went to the other boys and Niall came.

He had that smile on his face that made you smile so much. He sang So Sick and you just smiled the whole time. You always loved the fact that when he sings he always smiles and seems so happy.

After he sat down Liam came and sag Cry Me A River and he just did it perfect like always. Your favorite part has always been his high notes and he just hit them perfectly. The other boys came from behind and they stood all together as they played Story Of My Life. You had so much memories with that songs. You remembered how you watched the videos the first. How it remembered you at your childhood.

As they finished they did their group hug. It seemed like they were hugging for hours. This was just a beautiful moment. Liam turned to the crowd and said "You guys are the Story Of Our Life. Thank you again for everything." The band began to play a familiar songs which turned out to be Forever Young. You stared at them and in your mind you saw these five boys from the stairs making fun and laughing at everything.

The next song they played was What Makes You Beautiful and you thought this would be the last song they'd sing. You couldn't believe that this whole concert was just over. The time went to fast.

The song ended and you prepared yourself that their were saying goodbye. Harry started to speak and you couldn't stop crying. "So guys we wanted to make it special for you today so we wanted to end this concert just like it all began. This is going to be the last song. This is Torn."

You couldn't believe what he was saying until they started singing. On the big screen you could see a video with all the memories of their X-Factor times. It just broke your heart to see this. You could hear their voices cracking as they sang along. They finished and they all stood together. You could clearly see the tears in their eyes as Louis spoke. "Thank you all again for these beautiful years. We just wanted to have this last concert with you all." Then Niall spoke. "This was an incredible night. Thank you for making this all happen. Have a good way home. We will always love you guys. This was the best night ever."

They all hold hands as Liam said "We have been One Direction. Thank you for all these years. Good night." They bowed down and just stood for a moment there watching all their fans as they went down from stage.

This was it. This was the end. You hugged your friends and tried to stop crying which was impossible for you. You stood there for twenty minutes as you slowly left the arena. It was the most beautiful concert you ever went and you were so happy that you had the opportunity to see them the last time but you were also so heartbroken cause you knew that nothing will be the same anymore.
