She shushed her sister. He was sleeping, for now, but they had to be careful. He was a light sleeper, and would kill them once he was awoken. Her sister tired of being quiet fast, she was at the prime age of four, which meant she knew exactly what to do, what she wanted to. Her shrieks of annoyance at being quiet led to her older sister clamping a hand over her mouth, A promise for snacks allayed the tiny, ravenous beast that was her sister. A tiptoe towards the kitchen. Another. And another. Then, a full on sprint to reach the desperately close cupboard. Fear choked her like a too tight turtleneck, which she had numerous of, she tried to be as silent as she could, as to not alert the sleeping dragon nearby. Being nine was hard work. BAM. CRASH. In a bout of absolute and complete terror she turned around. Numerous snacks had fallen out of the cupboard, including a rather large glass bowl. She started to cry, as she had just doomed her little sister and now she had to hide. She found herself in a back part of the pantry, desperately trying to hide herself behind a shelf. A couple footsteps outside of the door. A couple of knocks. So much terror she thought she would pass out. An opening door. She closed her eyes. Something pulled her out from behind the shelf. "Now what did I tell you about waking me up? I need my sleep too you know, come on May let's go get your sister. Her father picked her up, her hands still quaking, as she slowly relaxed, she realized
