Airisu was all alone, the servants were preparing for a ball very soon. So Airisu being the innocent, curious little thing she is, she went exploring the Kuran mansion. Airisu has only even stayed in the servants' courters, so this was a new experience for her."Obaa San won't be mad." Airiu though out loud, giggling as her hair trailed behind her, as she ran in the direction of Haruka's study.
Airisu opened the door, and looked up at all the books in wonder. Airisu was so caught up in admiring the books that she didn't noticed her father watching her from his desk. With a giggle, Airisu grabbed a book. "Alice......In....Wonderland!" Airisu read all by herself. With a smile, Airisu tried to read the story by herself, since she had been practicing with a butler named Jeffrey.Haruka watched with mirth in his eyes as he watched his youngest daughter reading a book, but Airizu got stuck on a word and cutely tried to pronounce it." The....Shishire.....no.....The cishire cat?"
"It's Cheshire Cat." Haruka said softly, making Airisu look up with puffed out cheeks.
"I wanted to do it by myself!" Haruka chuckled, but Airisu was frozen in shock. She has never been alone with her father, hell she doesn't even know his name.
Haruka smoked gently, and sat down on the couch by Airisu." May I read with you?" Airisu looked up at her father with doe like eyes.
" Yes...but promise to let me do the big girl words?" Haruka chucmled and nodded. Airisu plopped herself on her father's lap and began drifting off to sleep before Haruka got to the end.
'I've always cherished this moment. This is the main reason why I cherish books so much. Well one of the reasons.'
Haruk gently tried to take Airisu off him, but he froze when Airisu rubbed her eyes and said," Don't leave me....Daddy." Haruka froze, and smiled softly, while playing with Airisu's hair." I won't leave. I promise."
Airisu nodded sleepily and doze off, unaware of Juri's gaze. Juri walked up to Haruka and looked down at Irish emotionlessly." She looks peaceful." Despite Juri's hard gaze, her words came out soft, and Juri softly pet Airisu's head."She looks like the both of us."
Haruka shook his head with a soft smile." The three of us." Juri's hands clenched and she walked away.
