Alexis Cooper.

Things were surprisingly calm at the moment, I hadn't heard from my mum since Christmas day and I didn't really expect to, I knew she'd be pissed at me but I didn't really care, I just did what needed to be done.

My dad was looking for a new place like crazy, it was hard to find something this time of year, five days after Christmas, I'd offered for him to stay with me as long as he needs but he doesn't want to 'intrude' or have to rely on me, so he's just in and out of hotels until a work trip, or until he gets a house.

New Years Eve was tomorrow, and I was looking forward to it, a night out is needed at the moment especially with all my friends, that make night outs as good as they are.

I sighed and thew the covers off from over my head grabbing my phone from the bed side table to text Samantha.

Alexis: Shopping today? I need something to wear tomorrow night, and sales are crazy at the moment.

I got out of bed and headed to the kitchen, making myself a coffee to start the day when I received a reply from Samantha.

Samantha: Sure babe :) I'll come around at 9?

I glanced up at the time on my phone seeing that nine was in forty-five minutes, I quickly replied confirming that nine was good, gulped my coffee down and took a quick shower.

It wasn't snowing today, but it was raining like crazy, I threw a grey jumper on, a army green jacket over the top and a pair of black jeans. I did my makeup light, there wasn't time for much else so I put my combat boots on. Seeing it was ten minutes until nine, I decided to lock up my apartment and wait in the lobby.

When I got down the the lobby, I saw Harry walking in, a travel cup in his hand, clad in black jeans, a long black jacket and converse. He looked up, spotting me, a big grin clear on his face. I made my way over to him.

"Lex." He breathed out. "What are you up too?"

"Waiting for Sammy, we're going shopping for tomorrow night." I told him.

"Great, it's good to know you're still going." He confessed, I smiled at him. "Of course I am, I wouldn't miss it, I love New Years Eve, and I love going out with you guys, last time ended far too soon, thanks Sammy." I joked.

He shook his head and laughed. "For sure, we'll have fun, I'm sure of it." Harry assured me. I looked out the glass doors and saw that Samantha had arrived.

"Well, that's Sammy, I'll come over tonight once I'm back, if you're not busy?" I asked.

"When am I ever busy?" He joked. "You can come over, that's no problem." I nodded, giving him a hug after we exchanged our goodbyes.

I walked out of the lobby and got into the car where Samantha was waiting.

"That was cute." Was the first thing she said.

I looked at her with a questioning look, "What?"

"Oh, just you and Harry, you're cute together." She told me.

"Well, we aren't together, so off the mall we go." I told her, and she started the car and headed to the direction of the mall.

Once we got there, the first thing we decided to get was some breakfast. I settled for french toast and bacon, we sat in the small cafe and discussed the details of tomorrow. Samantha told me that Niall had told Louis, that Harry suggested pre drinks at his house, I agreed, reminding myself to talk to Harry about it tonight, just to be sure.
