Lisa POV
Jack would never want me, again, especially not now. I felt so guilty. She's my cousin! I could've some how saved her. Than at least I would still have Jacks respect.
Jack made it pretty clear that he never wanted to see me again. Shit, I didn't even want to look at myself.
"Mom, Ima go visit Mandy and Jack at the hospital" I said yelling down the hall.
"Sweetheart, they were discharged 4 weeks ago" said my mom screaming back at me.
What? Why didn't anyone tell me? Wow. They must really hate me. Mandy doesn't know I was there though, Jack wouldn't have told her. Even if he did, she can't be mad at me. I panicked. I'm not some super hero. I was scared. Probably just as much as they were.
Suddenly there was a knock at my front door.
"Oh my! These are beautiful! Mom? I think Tim sent you roses again!" Tim is my moms current boy toy of the week. My dad had died when I was 6. Hey, I guess life keeps going. But I don't think she'll ever love again.
"Wait, a min..." Everything went blank.
Jacks POV
4 fucking weeks of sitting in this fucking bed! And I still have 2 more weeks!And you would think being away from school this long would be great! No! It sucks.
"MOM" this bitch never hears me.
"Yes baby"
"Can I have a few sandwiches please? Ham and cheese? AMERICAN!" I screamed as she walked away.
Mandy was coming over today after school. Mandy could be dieing and she would still go to school.
I couldn't stop myself from crying every time Mandy would come into mind.
Damn, my mom can cook.
"Thank you!" I screamed as she closed my door.
It was already 4.
"Where's Mandy?" I thought to my self
I heard police cars. What happened now? I don't care.
There's always nothing on tv, so I would find myself watching the news a lot.
"We interrupt this program for breaking news"
"I don't care!" I said out loud.
"Wait, that's Lisa's house! MOM!"
She was in stable condition. Lisa had been shot in the leg. What is going on?! First, Mandy and I, now Lisa! Who's doing this?!
Mandy's POV
Jack must be so worried. My phone was vibrating like crazy. The school was under lock down. Lights off, doors locked and everything. What was going on? I finally checked my phone. "Over 20 messages from my mom and Jack?" I said softly.
Oh no! Lisa! She has gotten shot!
The lock down was over and I ran to Selena to give me ride to the hospital.
Lisa was just laying there. Sleeping. The bullet went straight through according from what I could see from the X-ray. Lisa was lucky.
"Lisa, what happened?" she was really week.
"Mandy, he wants you"
"Who!"
"That guy! He dropped off flowers. The next thing you know I was dizzy and fell to the floor! The note was for you!"
I had to let her rest. Who was doing this? Whoever it was, he's an idiot because he got the wrong house!
I opened the note Lisa had handed me.
"Hi, Mandy! Love always Anon."
WHAT?! This is creepy. But whoever it was, is getting what they want. A reaction. I have to find out before anyone else gets hurt.
