"Baz?" Asked the still sleepy magician
"Yes?" He replied
"Have you ever considered-" Simon yawned and flopped back against the wall "-that people normally don't wake up at 4:30 in the morning?"
Baz pondered this for a moment.
"I suppose it has crossed my mind once or twice,"
"So then-" he yawned again "Do you think you could possibly make a little less noise? So that those who are sleeping, stay sleeping?"
"Alas Snow, unfortunately it is in my blood to unnecessarily wake up those who I dislike,"
Simon groaned and pulled the covers over his face, attempting to fall back into their warmth. Baz, who was now curled up on the windowsill, chose this moment to let out a very large sneeze. Startled, Simon jumped and threw off the covers, exposing his topless self to Baz, who raised an eyebrow and sighed.
"Put some clothes on Snow, before the sight of you makes the fangirls come running,"
"What fangirls?" Asked Simon, pulling on a creased shirt. Baz turned around and scowled at him.
"You know what fangirls," he hissed
Simon smirked and finished buttoning up his shirt, before pulling on a pair of clean trousers and hopping out of bed.
"Aww bless, is poor little Baz offended?"
"What is there to be offended about?"
"The fact you have no fangirls. Although I think the frog from the lake has taken to following you around....,"
Simon ducked as Baz threw a pillow at his head. It sailed past and landed by the lamp on the floor.
"You know you're not allowed to injure me while we're in here?"
"Yes. That's why I missed," he grinned cunningly "What time do our lessons begin today?"
"Check for yourself," Simon huffed "I'm going to find Penelope and Agatha,"
"I hate to break it to you Snow, but they're still asleep,"
"How do you know?"
"I went into their room about 10 minutes ago. Did you know that Agatha sleeps with a picture of you under her pillow?"
"Ok, stop right there!"
Simon grabbed the pillow off the floor smacked Baz in the face with it.
"Excuse me!" Exclaimed an offended Baz "Only a moment ago you were telling me off for breaking rules, yet look what you're doing!"
Simon laughed and walked over to the door.
"I feel like coffee. Coming?"
Baz arched an eyebrow.
"What do you think, Snow?"
"I don't know. You're a constantly having mood swings,"
"No. No is my first, second, third, fourth and final answer. And it would also mean breaking one of my rules,"
"Which is...?"
"Don't drink coffee with Simon Snow. One of you will end up poisoning it,"
Simon laughed again.
"You want to really, Baz,"
"What? Drink the coffee or poison it?"
"Both," he answered, before making his way out of the door and down to the main hall.
All at 4:45 in the morning.
