Chapter 5

You were the first one to get the the house and happily opened the door to run inside and make an abrupt stop. Everyone either sat or stood in the living room area but they were all staring at you.

"This doesn't mean that you won! You cheated!" you heard Jaebum yell from far away behind you to then stop next to you. He whispered down to you "What's wrong?"

You whispered back "I think we're in trouble."

Yumi coughed as she stood up to look across at you with crossed arms "Where were you Y/N?"

You were about to respond but were cut off when Jaebum stood in front of you as if protecting you from her. He said in a casual tone "We were on our date, we're a couple now."

Yumi looked at you shocked, everyone looked at both of you shocked. You shoved Jaebum as you said "Don't say that!"

He whispered in your ear "It'll be easier for them to act as if it's real if we make them believe that it is."

You bite the inside of your cheek, you hated lying and most definitely to the people that you care about. You look down as you quickly walk past everyone and towards your room. Once you were inside you let out a sigh flopping on top of your bed, not falling asleep but thinking. After a few minutes there was a knock on your door and you opened it to find Jackson with a face full of anguish.

He turned back as if making sure that no one saw him and whispered "Is it true... Is it true that you're now Jaebum's girlfriend?" You didn't say anything just looked into his eyes, you weren't a very good liar or a liar at all, but without responding you did technically respond.

He leaned towards you and whispered "Why are you trying to make us think that you're a couple?"

"Remember the day that we were practicing and then you all appeared and Jaebum dragged me out of the room?" you asked and he nodded. "Well our managers thought that it would be great publicity for both of our groups if we pretended to be a couple" you explained. You then looked up at him with worry "Please pretend like you don't know any of this."

He looked at you confused "Know what?"

You smiled and said "Dork" causing him to laugh.
