Chapter 12

I just wanted to say thanks for reading this far! Also this chapter is going to be a vent chapter because I'm not at all okay and I've been really depressed lately so I'm just gonna pour my feelings into this chapter.

I must of fallen asleep because Noah was passed out on the floor and the TV was still on. I didn't realize I was on the couch so when I went to roll over I landed on the floor. "OWE!!" I said while muttering curse words. "Noah...." I groaned. "Ya...." He groaned back. "Wanna go down to the lunchroom and grab some breakfast?" "Sure.." Noah threw on a sweater and so did I. We made our way down to the lunchroom and grabbed some breakfast. "Hi guys.." I said. "Damn Dani, looks like you didn't sleep at all." Kelly said trying to hide her smile. I was going to sit down next to Ace but someone was there. "Daniela, meet Ashley. Ashley, meet Daniela." I nodded and Noah and I pulled up a chair to the table. I rested my head on the table, not willing to eat anything. Noah rubbed my back and Kelly gave me a weird glance. "Oooooo Dani got herself a mannnn." Alex said smirking at me. "We're just close friends." Noah said and continued to eat his cereal. "Ya, close friends who kiss..." I heard Luke say under his breath. "WHAT?!" Ace said staring at me. I looked up and saw all the hurt in his eyes. I felt so bad. "Daniela...what the hell.." He said, obviously choking back the tears. "I...I'm sorry..." I said, looking down at my hands. "SORRY?! SORRY ISNT FUCKING GOOD ENOUGH!!" He screamed at me. I let one tear roll down my cheek. "I...I just..." "I thought you liked me...did you just use me? It's like you cheated on me..." He said, looking at me with all the pain and hurt in his eyes. I got up from my chair and ran out of there as fast as my legs would carry me. "GET BACK HERE! DONT RUN FROM YOUR STUPID MISTAKES!!" I let more tears run down my cheeks as I ran towards my dorm. I ran into the bath room and sunk down to the floor, crying my eyes out. I felt so bad for doing this to Ace. I took my pocket knife from my back pocket and looked at the point. Just do it. Nothing matters anymore. You don't deserve to live for what you just did to him. No one needs you. You're a bitch. I battled my thoughts until I just couldn't take it anymore. I pressed the knife to my skin and slowly made the first cut. It wasn't the deepest, no not at all. Just a pulse of crimson to hush all the demons shrieking inside my mind. I moved the knife downward and again slowly cut myself, a little deeper each time. I let myself cry and cry until there were no more tears but continued to cut. The blood dripping to the floor.

Noah's POV

I ran after her, to her dorm. Her door was wide open. "DANIELA!! DANIELA!!" I screamed her name and all I heard was quiet sobbing coming from the bathroom. I walked into the bathroom and looked at her. She held the knife to her arm and slowly cut herself, her arm was covered in blood. "DANI NO!!" I screamed and ran over to her, grabbing the knife out of her hand. "Oh my god.." I said looking down at her arm. She looked up at me and slowly closed her eyes. "NO!! DONT YOU DO THIS!! DONT FUCKING LEAVE ME!!" I cried holding her close. "HELP!! ANYONE HELP!! OH GOD! PLEASE!" I screamed, praying someone would hear me. "Please hold on..." I said, kissing her forehead. I heard people run into the dorm. I looked behind me and Luke was already talking with 911. Everyone stood there in shock. "Daniela...I love you..." I said, and held her close to me.

I had been waiting in the waiting room for an hour. Praying that some how, she would be okay. The doctor finally arrived with some news saying that she is going to be fine and that we can all go in to see her. Me and Kelly ran towards her room. "Dani..." She said quietly as she approached her hospital bed. I walked up next to Kelly and looked at Daniela. I let on tear slip down my face when I looked at her arms. She obviously has done this before. So many scars...it broke my heart to see that this is what she does to herself. "Hey Kelly, hey guys..." She said looking at everyone in the room except Ace. "I'm s-sorry...so sorry..." She said and started crying. "We're all glad you're okay." I said, speaking for everyone here.

After awhile everyone left but I stayed right by her side. "You can go Noah, it's late and you have school tomorrow." "No. I'm staying right here with you." I said, holding her hand. "I'm not leaving you." She smiled weakly. "I'm sorry you had to see me like that.." I looked at her, not sure of what to say. She slowly fell asleep and I watched her for awhile before crawling into a chair to sleep.
