I sprinted back home as fast as I could.Rushing past bushes,trees,houses and finally i reach my house.I tiptoed into my room,hoping to not wake up my foster mum.(or as I always call her behind her back-The Witch)I closed the door quietly and removed my hoodie and pants.Then,I took my necklace and wore it.Whoosh!I turned into a cat with ash grey and point blue fur with brown hazelnut eyes.I wore my kitty socks and my hat and jumped off my window
As I walked on the fresh,green and wet grass,I breathed in the fresh air.I smiled to myself,not caring if anyone notices what I'm doing.I then rolled on the grass while enjoying the awesome weather."Leila!Where are you?!"Oh no!The Witch has awoken!I climbed on the tree leading to my room window.Phew!I locked my door,removed my kitty socks and hat,placed it in my backpack,removed my necklace and was a human again.I wore my hoodie and and pants and walked out of my room,acting like nothing happened."Where have you been?"she asked with a grin cast upon her face.Ugh!!!This must be one of her tricks to get me to eat her awfully disgusting food.I didn't replied.I took her hands of my shoulders and said,"I'm going out for a while and you are NOT stopping me!"I grabbed my backpack and left the house.
My mom doesn't know that I'm a cat-all she knows is that I have a cat.She realised that whenever my cat is around,I'm not and whenever I'm around,the cat is not.Obviously,I'm the cat and myself.Anyways,I walked out of the house feeling quite annoyed.I went into my cat house and wore my necklace.And again,I turned into a cat,wore my hat,socks and my backpack and headed to the park for a stroll.So basically,I was a cat in a hat,wearing a pair of socks and a backpack.(It sounds weird but that's MY LIFE)
At the park,I climbed up a tree and hugged a tree trunk.I closed my eyes,allowing nature to take me for a ride.The chirping of the birds could be heard.The sound of water rushing down a water fountain made me feel calmer.Why can't my life be as calm as this?I sighed.The sound of kids having fun and screaming made me feel like home.After sometime,the park went silent.Droplets of water dropped on my face.It smells like...like...rain.Whoa,whoa,whoa!Wait a second.RAIN!I opened my eyes.Blech!Rain water entered my mouth.I got off the tree and tried to run back home into my cat house.Phew!I was drenched.I placed my hat and socks in my backpack and placed my backpack in the corner.I shook myself until I was dried.I stayed in there until the rain stopped.
Ugh!Finally the rain has stopped.I got out of the cat house and climbed up the tree and into my room.I removed the necklace and wore my hoodie and pants.I then took out my cat treat that I had bought for myself and smuggled it into the house a week ago and ate it all."Burp!!!Excuse me!"I then slept for the next 3 hours."Leila,where is that filthy cat of yours?"screamed The Witch.You see,The Witch hates cats and never wanted me in her life.All she ever wanted,ever since she married my dad,was his wealth.I swore that i shall never ever love or not even like her.EVER.I grunted.
A few days passed by.The Witch forced me to go out with her to the Mother's Club.There,they serve food that you never can imagine-boiled rats,steamed fish and anchovies.(Sounds like a feast fit for a cat;D)I feel like gulping down all of it.I licked my lips,getting ready for a feast fit for a king.I rushed to the table,let out my hand and Slap!"Ouch!!"I rubbed my hands in pain.The Witch slapped my face and said"What the hell do you think you are doing?!"I made a few steps back and blushed.I then said that I wanted to eat it,even if I was uninvited.She then replied that the food were only meant for elders,not teens like me.I sneered."So you're calling yourself old?"
