Life of a High School Student

Chapter 1 : First Day High!

I remember waking up to my grandmother's side. I heard the sound of "All Too Well" by Taylor Swift then quickly got up to check my phone. As I check my phone, I saw Eva's Name. She is the best among all of my bestfriends. JUNE 4 2015. I remembered the date. It was the first day of school! First Day High! YAAAS! I don't mind Eva's Message... I just go with the flow. I go to the bathroom to take a bath.. I did.. I remembered what I promised to Eva that we will have the same dress codes at the first day of our highschool life. I put up a Black T-Shirt with 'ZombieRun' Sign it says, I put up my Grey Skinny Jeans too! I wore Wedges!. Exactly, 6:45AM, Eva got out of her mother's car.. And kiss her mother in the cheeks and exited the front porch. It is where she was that time. She saw me and ran to me then hugged me. "SAME DRESS CODES, BRUH". The thought in my mind that this day will pass through in happy way. I CAN'T CONTROL MYSELF! specially, when I am with Eva. I wasn't that close to her when we were in like 1st to 6th grade... But she was left with me so I can't do anything now.. It's me and her now...  Then I was trying to get her phone but she kept on keeping it away from me and I didn't notice that there's a car beside me and beeping because.. I realized I was at the center of the road and Eva was in the sidewalk. YEEEEET! what an Embarrasing day for the first day of highschool! BUT STILL, I remained so happy.

I heard the guard's whistle signaling us to form our lines grade by grade and height by height. there are few new students I see and because I don't know what grade they're in.. I tried to be confident and ask them one by one.
K: "what grade are you?"
L: "7"
K: "What is your name?"
L: "Liza, Liza Smith"
K: "Hi Liza, I'm Kaila.. Kaila McCarthy"
*Eva interrupted the conversation*
E: "Who's this?! YOU EXCHANGING ME NOW BRUH?! HOW DARE YOU PLAY WITH MY HEART?! *Le cries*
K:"Shut up, Eva I'm trying to be friendly."
E: "As a matter of fact, you were friendly since you came here."
K: " CAN YOU JUST PLEASE SHUT UP BRUH! I'M TRYING TO HAVE A CONVERSATION WITH LIZA!"
E: "Oh!!! so you were liza? OH HI!! NICE TO MEE--"
K: "Hi Liza! this is Eva, Eva Collins. Eva, This is Liza, Liza Smith"
E&K: "We hope you will enjoy your day!"
*Goes back to line*
Mrs. Higgins: GOODMORNING! MY FELLOW STUDENTS! I HOPE YOU WILL ENJOY YOUR DAY! AND MAKE NEW FRIENDS! I CAN'T WAIT TO GIVE YOU SO MUCH FUN AND ACTIVITIES! GOODLUCK TO ALL OF YOU! HAVE A NICE DAY!"
*Applause*

Me and Eva kept on talking and talking until we reached our classroom. Here is it! Room 213! we make our way to the chairs and chasing each other's way to our seats and as a twist of fate... We used to seat next to each other! WHAT A WONDERFUL DAY! we laugh and laugh until we cry and make the day more memorable. The new comers... New students, rather... was just staring at us.. Like were so crazy.. that our new classmates expect that we are one of those bad girls of the school. but were not.. were just making the day memorable.  Mr. Daniels separated seats of the old and new students.. me and eva are both old students.. so we are in the left side.. and the new students were in our right side.

"Ms. McCarthy, Is there something you want to share with the class?" Mr. Daniels said... "Ughm, No sir.. I was just having a laugh with my bestfriend." .... "Well, You better volunteer to start the introduction of yourselves, don't you think?" ... I stood up and Introduced myself. "Hi! I am Kaila McCarthy, I live in the town street down the road with my family.. I was 12 years old.. Happy, contented, free and good."
Eva starts to make sounds which makes me laugh a little. "Very Well Said, Ms. McCarthy!" and then Mr. Daniels called Eva next because she sat next to me. "Hi, I am Eva Collins..I am 11 years old and turning 12 this october 24th 2015." .. Moment of silence.. Until Mr. Daniels finally speak up. "How impressive, Ms. Collins, That's how Kaila affected your mind?" .. Looks at each other.. "I think so".. Mr. Daniels asked everyone to introduce and everyone did. We turned our head to our right side where the new students are in and this girl named Ella looked so shy and she was talking to the girl beside her named Lalaine. they looked so close.. I asked Eva if she noticed something..
K: "Eva, have they met each other before? what do you think?"
E: " you have a point"
K: "Then who's the boy infront of her?"
E: "Who?"
K: "Ella O'Brien and Lalaine Davis."
E: "I actually dont know, bruh"

until Amber snuck into the conversation.. I asked her what she think about Ella and Ethan. (Ethan is the noy infron of Ella and Lalaine, which we are talking about)

K: "Yo, Amber! look at them! they looked so happy together! the girl in a leather jacket and the boy who wears black polo.. what do you think about them?"
A: well... yeah... He might be her Boyfriend!!"
K: "What?!? so does this mean I will stay single forever?!? LOL just kidding.. But as a matter of fact, She is yoo young to have a boyfriend."
A: "Let's just ask her who is he if we get close to her. They are late comers.. I mean they're late for the first day of school. They didn't introduced themselves... they might be siblings"
K: "Let's just say that it's official when we already prove what is right."
A: "That's what I'm thinking about! hahahaha"

I must admit, I'm having a little crush on this 'Ethan-Boy" because he looks so innocent, quiet, handsome, good... It's like everything is like.. OMG! I think I really have a crush on him really... I will tell this to Eva..
I then started a conversation with Eva again.
K: "Bruh, do you see Ethan?"
E: "Bruh, I KNOW WHAT YOU'RE FEELING!"
K: "Like bruh, WTF... HE LOOKS SO FUCKING INNOCENT! I NEED TO KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT HIM!"
E: "HERE WE GO AGAIN...."
K: *Sings* "Don't be afraid please Jump then Fall into me."

I forgot that this day is also the departure of my uncle.. I felt so sad.. I just stared at my watch.. Watching how the numbers changed from time to time... I see that this is his flight.. So he will fly way back to UAE.. I felt so sad that I didn't go with mommy to go send tito to the airport.

We got to go to have recess and go to the comfort room to have our "First groupie"... I think that's what we call it..  and lunch to get to know each other and.. yeah this day turns out to be memorable and full of happiness. AND FULL OF LOVE.

we set our 'Goodbye's and See you tomorrow's' and I got home so happily.
