Love Me Not

I was walking along the roadside in Ocean View.

I walk here everyday after school because our house is just nearby.

Sunset for me, is the best time of the day. It is also the most beautiful, I really cant take my eyes off the colorful clouds and the shimmering ocean.

And I just love how the sunset turns everything into a timless sepia-toned place.

It's still 5pm and I decided to go to my favorite bookstore before I go home. I badly need something to read on a friday-night.

" Good afternoon Miss ^_^".  An old man greeted me with a gentle smile. I had never seen him here, he might be a new staff.

"Thank you and Good afternoon too". I greeted him back and walked straight to the bookshelves and started looking for a good book.

"What book are you looking for Miss"?

I almost jumped out of my skin in surprise. I didn't notice that the old man had been following me.

 If he weren't smiling kindly, I would find him quite creepy.

"Ahm, I don't know exactly what I am looking for. Just any good book ".

"Then let me recommend a good book for you".  said the old man smiling.

"O..kay".   I really can't say no to an old man.

"Good lady. Then ,please follow me". 

"Sure". I followed him at the counter and waited  for him to get the book.

"Thanks for waiting Miss. Here is the book I am talking about".  He handed me an old familiar book.  The book has some sort of faded moon and stars symbol in its cover. 

"Thank you". I said while slowly opening the pages of the book, afraid that it might torn because of its brittle yellow pages.

"Is this a diary? It has no title?" I asked him.

"You'll know when you'll read it miss".  Oh. Uh. Nice answer.

"Oh...okey. I'll get this one. How much"?   I really don't know why I am buying this thing but since I have money, I guess it doesn't hurt. Besides, there is something mysterious in this book that attracts me.

He smiled and said, " No ,it is all yours. Keep the book young lady".

"Seriously? I have money, don't worry about it".  I insisted.

"Yes, its all yours. Nobody would buy that old book anymore but it would be a waste to throw such a good book away. It is really a good book, I want  a beautiful and nice girl like you to have it ^__^" .     He had a point, the book is old and I am beautiful and nice hehe.

"Thank you so much. I will read this tonight."  I thanked him  and went home.

I cant wait to read the book and I don't know why!

I am now floating in the starry night sky . I feel so weightless like a cloud.

The cold but soft feeling of the air up here is so comforting. I am literally  starstrucked by the magical dancing stars above  and the view of the glistening ocean below is truly mesmerizing but neither of them compares to the immortal beauty of this glamorous moon I see.

I swear, this has got to be the most beautiful and the biggest moon a man could ever imagine.

It is looks like a big round diamond! No joke!

Just imagine a round ball littered with glitter dusts and you'll know what I mean.

*whooooooooooooooosssshhhh

Suddenly a gust of wind flew me nearer to the moon as if I am as light as a feather.

I am so near to the moon now, that I think I am in outer space but ofcourse that is impossible.

"Luna...." 

Out of the blue, I heard a beautiful voice like that of a Godess.

"Luna..."   The voice is calling me again. I looked around expecting to see a floating Godess or ghost in the sky but I saw nothing.

"Luna...." This time the voice is louder...and it comes somewhere around the moon.

"Where are you"?   I shouted.

"I am just here ...and always will be, beside you".   The moon said...while getting brighter in every word said.

No way! 

No..freaking way. 

The moon is talking! 

It was the moon, can you believe me?

" I must be dreaming! I am dreaming"!  I exclaimed. 

But right after I said that, I felt my whole body terribly vibrated and then everything went from white then faded to full darkness. 

The last thing I could remember was the feeling of falling down.
