Clarity~Ghost Hunt Songfic

~Chapter One~

Hey you guys this is my first story and I wanted to base it off of the song 'Clarity by Zedd.'

Ummm I don't own any songs, Ghost hunt, or any other characters that I put in so then ok, onto the story.

~Flashback~

"Is it me you love or is it Gene?" He said to me before he walked away. My world shattered when he said those words to me. The further he walked, the more my heart broke into pieces. I was shocked to the point to where I couldn't speak. He didn't give me enough time to answer whenever he walked away from me. Whenever he was long gone I answered tearily.

"You, It was always you."

~End of Flashback~

"Next up at the Mic is, Miss Mai Taniyama." The owner of the little cafe said before I walked up on stage.

I get up on the stage when the people start clapping for me.

"Hey everybody, thanks for coming out tonight." I said as I glanced over at my new friends that I made after everyone left me 3 years ago. There was my best friend Yuki Cross, her boyfriend Zero Kiriyu and Lily James. Yuki found me in the park crying while it was raining the day he rejected me. She comforted me whenever I was hurt. Zero became my friend that day too. Lily is a different story, she seems like a nice person but once you get to know her she is a total badass. I met her her at this cafe that I am about to sing at. Lily saw me writing songs into my journal and was instantly interested.

"So, this evening I am going to sing you guys 2 songs, one that I have already sang before for you guys and a new one that I wrote 3 years ago. The first one is called 'I told you so' hope you guys like it.

Suppose I called you up tonight and told you that I love you

And suppose I said I wanna come back home

and suppose I cried and said I think i finally learned my lesson

and I'm tired of spending all my time alone

If I told you that I realized you're all I ever wanted

and it's killing me to be so far away

would you tell me that you loved me too and would we cry together

Or would you simple laugh at me and say

I told you someday you'd come crawling back and asking me to take you in

I told you so but you had to go

and now I've found somebody new and you will never break my heart in two again

I looked out to the crowd and saw some people come in the cafe but I couldn't see their faces because it was so dark. But I kept on singing anyway.

If I got down on my knees and told you I was yours forever

would you get down on yours too and take my hand

would we get that old time feeling

would we laugh and talk for hours

the way we did when our love first began

would you tell me that you missed me too and that you've been so lonely

and you've waited for the day that I returned
