"Thank you for coming, I'm Moe-Nique and i will be your waitress." I said. This was me, a waitress at a local dinner, glamours right. Yeah not really. i know this isn't your idea of the perfect fairy tale. I believe everyone has a chance to have their Cinderella moment, I've never had mine but I know it's one it's way. That's right, I'm a dreamer.

okay back to reality. I was almost at the end of my shift.
"We will have 3 burgers, 2 cokes and a diet coke." The customer said. I smiled and I gave the order to Tess. Meet Tess, just about the only person I know since we moved here.

As soon as the clock struck 7.30 my shift was over. There was only one customer left. It was a boy. He had come in earlier with a girl.
"You do realize that you're the only left in here, right?" I asked as I walked to him.
"Yeah." He simply said.
"Girl trouble?" I asked as I invited myself in the seat opposite his, 
"3 years of dating and she does this? Women, how typical." He said then cupped his face in his hands. I wasn't really sure what this was but i was sure it was bad. I also didn't know how to help him. I have never had a boyfriend. It's not that I've never been asked, it's just that I've never said yes. I'm waiting for my Prince Charming. 
"Well you guys are hard to read." I finally said. I spoke from what I had seen in movies.

Then one of the forks fell as I got up. I reached down for it and I felt another had on the fork. The guy and I were holding hands. 
Hint, hint: Cinderella moment. I looked up and saw his beautiful sea blue eyes. I smiled and got up. I could feel it, the most perfect fairy tale was about to happen.

"I'm Tyler, people call me TJ." He said.
"I'm Moe-Nique. people call me........well Moe-Nique."I said then I smiled.
"I love your dimples." He said to me. He had just complimented me. I decided to play it cool.
"No way, I love them too." I had learnt how to be cool in situations like this from movies. And my dad said movies don't teach you anything.
"Cute and funny." He said. He had just flirted with me. He seemed pretty fine now for someone who had just been dumped. I thought about all that movies have taught me and I smiled, more like blushed. 

I looked at the clock and it was 8.45. By this time my dad would be sending cops to look for me. 
"Hey, thanks for staying with me and talking to me." He said.
"I kinda work here, so i have to leave after the customer but you are welcome." I told him. I locked up and started walking home.
"Can I walk you home?" He asked me. Without thinking I agreed.

Really Moe-Nique? You just agreed to having a complete stranger walk you home. I scolded myself. Besides what could happen? Maybe he could kidnap me or rob me of everything I have. I ignored my thoughts and walked beside him. I held my pockets just to be safe. It was just $4 but I had to blackmail someone for that money.

We soon got to my house and he says, "Well, see you around." Was he asking me out? 
"We'll just have to see." I said, talk about smooth. We stood awkwardly for a good 20 seconds, not that I was counting.
"Well I had a good time, thanks." I said then walked away. When I got to the door he said, 
"Hey Moe, I had a great time too." I smiled and I couldn't stop smiling. 

I got in then my brother, Chad said "Looks like someone had a good day."
"Oh shut up." I said as I threw a cushion at him and laughed
"Nikki? Is that you?" My dad asked.
"No hey dad, it's a stranger." I said sarcastically.
"Well stranger come down soon. I've prepared dinner. And by that I mean I ordered pizza." He said. I laughed as I went to my room.

I flung my bedroom door open and threw myself on my perfectly spread bed. I quickly dressed myself in sweat pants and a tank top. i tied my hair in a loose bun. Then I went downstairs. when I got downstairs I saw my little sister stuffing her face with pizza.
"Slow down Kel." I told her.
"But I'm hungry." She argued in her strong British accent. She and dad were the only ones who caught the accent when we moved there. Kelly and dad catch accents like the flue. I put out a plate and put pizza in and poured juice for myself. As we were eating a loud burp came from my part ape brother Chad. Okay, he's not part ape, but sometimes I wonder.
"eeeeeew." Kelly groaned. 
"And you wonder why you still aren't married and living in your father's house. I guess you just lack charm and class." I said. I ate the my last piece and wen to my room.
