Okay, soo i used to be 'ddlovato_myidol' but i wanted to make a new account, this is a story i wrote for english and everyone said it was really good so i though why not share it with people :) so here is it! Its short by the way:D

It was the night of Christmas eve and Ashley Marin was walking home from shopping, she heard the snow crunching under her feet as she walked across the fields. She felt the ice cold air brushing against her cheeks and the snow falling on to her long blond hair. All of a sudden she felt a warm breath against her neck, she turned....no one. She carried on walking, thinking she was just imagining it when she heard a faint scream, it seemed miles away but at the same time it seemed like it was right next to her. Ashley jumped in fright. She started running, she heard footsteps behind her running too, and she tripped, the footsteps had disappeared, voices surrounded her, her heart was racing. The voices were whispering "I'm coming for you! Don't try and hide!" She thought it was all a dream. The last thing you could hear was her scream in the distance, and the snow had turned dark red from the blood.
.....Lucy Montgomery slammed the book shut in fright.
"Whoa! That is one scary book!" said Lucy putting the book into her denim school bag and putting on her black body warmer.
"That would be awesome as a movie" said Selena, Lucy's best friend.
The school halls filled with the screaming school bell of Rosewood Day High School, Lucy and Selena had spent their lunch break reading one of the most talked about books of all time. Everyone said it was the best book ever and Lucy and Selena now agreed. The book was very expensive so it was rare, but the library in the town of Rosewood had every book you could think of, so all the students in Rosewood Day had read it. Lucy and Selena weren't sure if the story was true, as there was a rumor going around the school saying whatever happened in the story would happen to the 100th person to read the book in each town. Lucy and Selena were not a bit scared about the situation, as th students in their school make so many rumors that were not true and they were sure they weren't one of the 100th people to read it because there were more than 120 students in their school and every student had read it. Well thats what Lucy and Selena believed.
Lucy and Selena were in their next lesson waiting for the teacher when the Principal came on the schools news channel; " Earlier today, Demi Fields in the town of Rickston got killed from reading the new and very popular book "Never Look Back" by Mara Ramsey. Apparently this book has been affecting young students in different towns so I am advising you not to read the book!" cautioned the principal.
The whole class looked at each other, was the rumor true? All the rumors about not reading the book made people more intrigued, Lucy was bursting with curiousity, excitment but also fear that not knowing what or if anything could or would happen. She only read the first page but for her she knew she had to read the rest.
The lesson went by so slowly, Lucy was dazed, thinking about the books; maybe she shouldn't have read it, should she? The question was circling around her mind the whole lesson. The bell suddenly rang.
"Okay class, so I want your essay given in after the christmas holidays, have a lovely christmas!" said Miss Hastings, Lucy and Selena's english teacher rubbing the whiteboard clean.
The class packed up all their equipment and walked out of the lesson.
"That lesson was so long! I hate having a double lesson!" said Madison putting her equipment away.
"Me too! At least its the last day! Its christmas in 5 days! I'm gonna do all my homework so i'm free for the holidays to hang with you, lets meet up tomorrow." said Lucy.
Madison nodded and smiled. "Your such a neat freak!" she laughed.
Both girls hugged and said bye, the girls were excited that it was finally the holidays.
Lucy was walking through the snow on her way home; she loved the snow so she decided to make a snowman. She rolled out the body and started to decorate it, she found a few large twigs near a tree for the arms, she slid them into the snowman, she then got lots of stones and started to design the face of the snowman, as she was putting on the eyes she felt a breath of warm air on her neck. She turned her head sharply, no one was there.
"Just like the book..." whispered Lucy.
She was so scared that she dropped all the stones and ran as fast as she could. Then, she heard a faint scream; she knew something bad was going to happen so she didn't stop running or even look back. She heard voices surrounding her.
Then...a scream, it wasn't someone else's scream, this time it was hers.
There was silence; all you could see was a dead body....
