"Okay class have a fun summer"!Mrs.Brower is super nice and me and Toby love her!We are so happy that today is the last day of school.

"WOAHHH"!

Everyone starts yelling and Toby runs over to my desk and picks me up and spins me around.

"We made it Mel!We finished Junior year of high school"!We walk out of school holding hands.Toby makes me feel so safe.I don't know what we are but,I love it.I think I love him.

"You wanna go to the park later Toby"?His neck twitches."Yah of course.I need to get out of the house anyway".Still holding hands we walk on the bus and sit down.
"I think this summer is going to be amazing".Toby then kisses my forehead.I blush."As long as I'm with you".I lean my head on his shoulder and look out the window watching the beautiful earth pass by me.
"Okay first stop"!Toby and I get off the bus and start walking to the park.

From the corner of my eye I see Toby staring at my face.He suddenly stops walking and look at my face."Mel.Is that another bruise"?I look away and hold onto his hand tighter as we walk."My mom's boyfriend broke up with her".
"I'll race ya to the swings"!He lets go of my hand and starts running towards the swings.
"Hey that's not fair"!I start running after him but,being me I trip and fall bringing Toby down with me.

"Ow my butt"!I yell while Toby keeps laughing his head off.He soon gets up and helps me up.
"You are so lucky that you can't feel pain".I tell him.
"So I've been told".Toby suffers from to things:something that people know as "The tics"which makes people twitch at random times and, something called CIPA.Its a rare genetic disorder that allows people to feel no pain..Thats why I'm his only friend.People think he is weird but I see his disorders as cool super powers in a way.
We finally get in the swings and hold hands while swinging.
"This is wonderful.This is what I want my whole summer to be full of.I want it to be full of fun,and the sun,and you".He says.I look at Toby and start to blush.Man,this boy really knows how to make a girl blush.

"It's starting to get pretty late Toby.We Should start heading home".His arm twitches as we get up and start walking to my house which,is across the street from him.

"I don't want you getting hurt again".He tells me as we arrive at my door."Don't worry.I'll call you okay"?"okay".I kiss his nose as I enter my house.

I take my shoes off and look out of the window to see Toby enter his house.

"Hi sweetie".My mom comes out of the kitchen."hey mom".
"How was your last day of school"?
"It was really good.I hope you don't mind that I was late I was hanging out with-".
"Toby?I saw.What are you two anyway"?
"Mom I really don't know".
My mom sits down.
"Sweetie Im super sorry for last night.I was drunk and stupid and I talked to someone about my drinking problem".I hug her.That is such great news.
"Mom what is it"?
"Oh nothing!It'sAbout 6:00.I say lets eat".
"Same".

"Mom that was so good thank you"!I pick up my plate and kiss my mom's cheek.

"Sweetie can you throw the trash out today"?
"Of course I can".I take the trash and walk over to Toby's house  cause that's where our trash is.I put my trash in the bin and turn and look at my house.Right next to my house I see a tall black figure with a white face just looking at me.I can feel my heart beat faster and faster.I move a little closer to see what  it is and it starts to walk towards me.I quickly run up to Toby's door and knock.

"TOBY!I keep knocking but no one is answering.I back away from the door and look back but,nothing is there.Am I going crazy or something?I turn back around to see the figure standing right in front of me.With thinking I quickly run into my house and lock all the windows.

"M,why did you take such a long time to-".My mom sees me shaking and runs up I me.

"Baby are you okay"?I can t speak.What the heck did I just see?Am I going mad.Wait.It was in front of Toby's house so maybe he saw it.I get my phone out.

"Toby Im freaking out".

"Same.I just saw...something in front of my house".

"Toby it was chasing me.Was it tall and Black with a white face"?

"Yah".I can hear his voice shaking.

"Mom when I went to take the garbage out something was following me.It was tall and was wearing all black and had a white face and Toby saw it too don't say I'm crazy"!My mom just looks at me.

"Okay.Your not lying to me right"?

"No I swear"!

"Okay.Well when either you or Toby or I see it I will call the cops okay"?

"Thank-".

"Ahh.*Sob*.Toby why"?

Mom and I look at each other.

"Mom.Don't worry Toby is fine".My mom nods and goes back into the kitchen.I soon see Toby's mom running towards us.I open the door.

"Toby.He.Oh god Toby".She falls to the floor sobbing.My mom soon comes out and tries to calm her down.I see a bright light coming out of the window  in the darkness of the night and I hear sirens.There is a huge lump in my throat.My heart is beating so fast.When I open my door I see Toby's house on fire.

"No Toby"!Hot tears stream down my face as I run towards his house.

"Sweetie"!My mom grabs me.

"No!Let me go"!I yell as I try to get out her hold.I fall to the ground.My love is gone..wait what the heck is that?I look to the left to the forest to see Toby covered in blood staring at the burning house.The figure comes up to Toby and puts a hand on his shoulder.

"TOBY"!He looks at me crying .

"Mom"!I look behind me to see her holding Toby's mom.I look back.Toby's gone.I run to spot where I saw him as police and Firefighters come out to me.

"Toby"!I yell out an look everywhere.I run into the forest."Toby"?I keep yelling his name when someone turns me around and its Toby.

"Oh my god Toby I thought you-".I get cut off my his lips.His warm wonderful lips.I kiss him back and hold onto him so tight.We break away as I look into his eyes.I rest my forehead in his.

"Baby"?

"Yes Toby"?

"Don't Forget about me".Then it's like he became air.He left so fast that I couldn't process what just happened.

"Ms. Is that her"?I hear a deep voice .Must be a police man.

"Yes it is thank you".I fall to my knees.

"Toby"!I yell out feeling the hot tears stream down my face."Toby"!My mom holds me in her arms.

"Shh,Sweetie Im here".

"Mom he's gone".I cry even more."He left me mom he left me"!

That was the last night I saw Toby.
