I yelled," Yeah."
I tightened my ponytail. Took one last look in the mirror and walked downstairs.
Dad handed me a poptart and we walked to our small silver Subaru.
I stared straight at the picture of my mom. My mom died when I was 4 in a car accident. My dad and I were lucky to survive. We promised each other we would always take care of each other.
Since then we are pretty close.
My dad said," Doing all right?"
I said," Yeah
