Celesta wandered through the forest slowly, looking around for anything or anywhere to set up camp for the night.

"Hm, I wonder. A village would be nice to stay at but there is nothing around.." I sighed loudly, looking for a tree to climb or maybe a flat spot on the ground to sleep on. It was getting dark soon and I knew I would have to set up camp very soon. "Oh lady Palutena, please let me find a village.." I prayed. I looked out into the distance to see a man in armor coming towards me. "Madam! Are you okay?!" "Yes, I'm fine sir. But may I ask, who are you?" I asked, eyeing the man who seemed to be about in his 50's. "I am Ulrich, guard of a village not at all far from here, may I escort you there?" "Oh! Yes of course! Thank you Ulrich."

They walked to the village in silence, Celesta checking her surroundings. When they got to village, she stopped, completely shocked at the villages condition. Everything was in complete shambles.

"Oh my! What happened here?" I asked hoping to get an answer. "A long time ago, when I had first became a guard for the lord here, our lord died in a fire to save his family. Ever since then, our village has never been prosperous. The buildings are not fixed and our food supply is running low. Most of the villagers have moved and only two of our guards have stayed to help and try to fix our village.." "Oh...I see..."  "Yes. Anyways, please make yourself at home. I think there might be an empty house or something but if not, we can put you in the guard station...but you would have to sleep in a cell." I thought about the idea of sleeping in a cell, that would be better then sleeping in the woods I guess. "Oh a cell..that's fine, better then sleeping outside haha." I said and Ulrich nodded, escorting me to the guards station. He lead me inside to meet to guards. "Hello everyone, I bring a traveler. She is going to stay in a cell for the night. A handsome guard got up from the table and walked over to me, looking me up and down. "I am Laurence. Who are you miss?"  "I am Celesta." He nodded and sat back down. The other guard, Brian, looked to be just a guard in training. "Well, since everyone has met, I should be going to start my nightly patrol. Goodnight miss Celesta." Ulrich said as he walked out the door of the guard station.

I walked over to an empty cell and put all my belonging in a chest. "I'm so sorry m'lady. This is not right for a woman to be sleeping in a cell." Laurence said, leaning against the wall. I turned around and smiled brightly. "Oh I don't mind one bit. It's better then sleeping in the woods." "Yes, I agree. If you don't mind me asking...how long are you planning to stay in this village...?" I haven't even thought about it. This village does seem like it could use my help and all, not having a lord. "I think, if it's alright...I might stay here. I haven't come across a village in such a long time."  "Ah. I see..well goodnight Lady Celesta, sleep well." Laurence said walking back to his room in the guard station. I took off my long, black cloak and crawled into the hard bed of the cell and slowly drifted off to sleep.

The next day

I woke up bright an early. I had to get started on helping rebuild their village and possibly helping the villagers to help me with getting around this village. It wasn't big, no not at all. It's a rather small village. I collected some materials and started to remodel each house slowly. As I started to get finished with the second home, I caught a glimpse of water out of the corner of my eye. I looked to my left to see they had a plaza, in need of serious reconstruction. "M'lady!" I heard Laurence say, approaching me. "You can just call me Celesta, no need for a title but anyways, what is it?" "A lady as such as yourself shouldn't be working on rebuilding everything! Leave it up to us guards." He said sternly. "First of all Laurence, I am not JUST a lady. I can do everything a man can do. Do not expect me to sit here and do nothing about this village?! I want to help." Laurence looked at me shocked. "Alright, if you insist." He said and walked away to the guard station. Ugh, now back to work.

A loooooonnnnggggg time later

"Whew!" I said while sitting on a step of the last house I had finished. "Who knew houses were so hard to rebuild!" I said laughing to myself. A little carried raven landed next to me, with a letter addressed to me. I took it and started to read.

Dear Celesta Woods,
The lord in North Wind has sent out a man-hunt for you. The reward is 4500 diamonds. I suggest you go into hiding as soon as possible. I miss you dearly and I hope your travels haven't been to much trouble. Please, take care of yourself for I am not sure how long it will be until the guards of North Wind come for me and execute me. Do not fear m'lady, I'll be fine.

Sincerely Zenix

"Oh no..." I said to myself, all I could think about was poor Zenix, he has done so much for me. I feared for his well being. There wasn't much I could do. I wondered, does this village know of the man-hunt for me? If so...I must flee.
