Paige's pov
My names Paige I live in the United states of America I'm what's now known as a sleepwalker. A sleepwalker is a person who had something life changing happen to them and as a result gained a unique power. The reason they call us sleepwalkers is because we can only use the power when we are "sleeping". Are sleep is not like normal sleep though we aren't really sleeping but a we can't control what we do while we're sleepwalking. Some of us have the power to control the elements, or the weather, some of us fly, but I have a very different power, I have the ability to read minds and to control the actions, emotions, and thoughts of others. Sounds cool right but when I'm having a nightmare I have the capability to hurt many people without the ability to stop myself. Thats why I'm considered so dangerous at the age of 18. I'm on the run from a group called the "day dreamers" who want to destroy me for my abilities, the government knows but they don't do anything to stop the day dreamers they're to afraid of them. Let me explain most people are terrified of sleepwalkers so they support the day dreamers and I just happen to be their number one target. I've been on the run from this group since the day I turned sixteen the age the government said that they could start terminating us at. My parents were all to happy to get rid of me after all I was the least favorite child my darling sister with her bleach blond hair and her popular status at school landed her the favorite child award. I was always the weird girl who was to loud and to quirky for they're liking. For my 16th birthday I got a duffel bag and some things i might need for basic survival and then they told me to pack my things and get away from this area so the day dreamers wouldnt come after them. As of now I live in an old hotel with a few other sleep walkers we have a few people who are sympathetic and give us our basic needs but even that is a risk to their life so I am very greatful to them for that. I have to go the walking is about start I'll write some more tommorow.
