Chapter 9

We pull away for a second, both of us trying to catch our breath... But someone standing behind Harry catches my attention..

Oh no....

Leah's POV

My breath hitches in my throat as I see Henry standing behind Harry as he looks right into my eyes. This can't be happening.

I know how it felt to be cheated on and never wanted to do that to anyone but I just had. Harry quickly catches on to me and turns around to see Henry. When he turns back around he wears an unreadable expression.

I let go of Harry and slowly begin to walk towards Henry who is still stood there. I look back and see Harry leaning against the car looking at me.

I approach Henry and he doesn't look at me but looks around as I make up my mind about what I am about to say.

I take a deep breath as I nervously fidget with my hands, "Henry, I-I don't know what happened I just I kissed him and-"

"It's okay" He says cutting me off and taking me by surprise.

"I-I what do you mean?" I say confused as he finally looks at me as he gives me a slight smile.

"Leah I could tell you liked someone, and that someone wasn't me. You were so distracted when we hung out and you didn't really look like you wanted to be with me-"

"It's not like that Henry you're a really nice guy it's just-" He cuts me of yet again.

"Leah its okay" he says with a light laugh. "You like someone else and that's not your fault. You can't really help what you feel towards someone else sometimes and I get it. And if he makes you happy, go for it. Don't force yourself to be with someone. Be with someone that you really want to be with. The heart wants what it wants" He says and I'm really blown away by how he's handling this.

"Henry you are such an amazing and kind guy and I am so sorry for what I did, you didn't deserve it and it wasn't my intention, it just kind of happened. I tried to suppress my feelings but I guess you can't really do that for long but that's still not an excuse. I never wanted to hurt anyone so Im so sorry and you are very nice and I'm sure you'll find someone that makes you happy, you deserve it. Thankyou" I say breathless as I give him a hug.

I pull away and he smiles at me, "No problem" He chuckles.

"See you around Leah" He smiles

"You too" I return and he shoots me one last smile before he walks inside the coffee shop. I let out a breath as I turn around and see Harry still standing there now with a slight smile ghosting his lips. I give him a smile back. I begin walking towards him as he stands up straight and I increase my pace as I swiftly walk towards him and before I know it I have wrapped my arms around his neck, and my lips are pressed against his. He places his arms on my waist as he pulls me into him. He licks my bottom lip and I immediately part my lips as his tongue slips in. Our lips move in sync, and as we pull away to catch our breath he sucks in my bottom lip and let's it go with a pop as he pulls away giving me a slight smirk.
