Chapter 1

Lillian is the name.

Today is my last first day of high school. My senior year was officially starting and I couldn't be more excited. I was ready to get this last year over with so I could move out of this lame town.

I live in Forks. Yes, the Forks from Twilight. But really, only the first movie was made here but still, that movie brought in a lot of unwanted tourist. I hated telling guys that I met at party's out of town that I lived in Forks because their initial reaction was, "Hey that's where that gay ass vampire movie was filmed." And then after that, it's like they forgot about me and just picked on my town.

Not that Forks was any great.

You've all seen the movie. It's cold, rainy, wet, snowy, and dreary 99.9% of the time. That 0.1% is when the sun actually decides to show itself.

But I only had one more year left. I plan on moving to California or maybe even Florida. Somewhere that's always sunny and always warm.

My dream is to be a big time artist. I want my paintings to be known by the Gods them self. Painting was how I escaped my reality.

My dad ran out on my mom and I when I was 12. I haven't seen or heard from him since. I have daddy issues which result in having trust issues which result into me being as single as a nun.

I was determined to change that this year.
