Why You Acting Strange?

Eric's POV.

Boom, boom. Jumping up I notice I was by myself. Where's Christy? I bolted from the bed and into the bathroom but It was empty. Where's Christy? I ran out the room and into every room in the house and found her in the kitchen laughing at something that Mia was telling her. I sigh and put my hand over my face.

"Is everything OK?" Matthew asked. Which made me jump and scream at the same time. All he did was laugh at me, I punch him in the arm.

"Don't do that." I said.

"What are you doing anyways?" He asked me.

"Checking up on my girl. What are you doing?" I asked diverting the question somewhere else.

"Looking for you. I knew that he was going to make you come so is best that we went together." Matthew said. I shook my head and he went in front of me first I looked in the kitchen and they were baking something. Female always have something to do their jobs are never over. I had so many things in my mind that right now I didn't even want to talk to the boss man but I couldn't say no.

Alpha Anthony's POV.

I was drawing up some papers when Eric and Matthew came in my office. They sat down in the two chairs that was in front of my desk. They didn't say anything and that's find because I was trying to muster up what I wanted to say to them.

"What's wrong, Alp?" Matthew asked after a while of me not saying nothing to them.

"We have to downgrade the surveillance and take a break I don't think-," but I was cut off by Eric.

"What?" Eric question. "What you mean you have to downgrade the surveillance on the house? You can't do that." Eric protested.

I stood up and went around my desk and straight to Eric's face. "What did you just said to me?" I question him. Eric's temple flinch a bit as he tried to maintain his breathing. "Meeting's over. Get out." I said in my Alpha's voice.

Matthew got up without a hesitation and bolted out the room without looking back. Eric got up too and was about to leave when I stopped him. "What's wrong with you? Why did you talked to me like that?"

"'Cause I feel like we're not doing nothing to stop what's happening." He answered me.

"What's happening?" I question him. He grunted hard as to express what I was saying what's bothering him.

"How can you say to downgrade the surveillance? That's exactly what they want. Don't you think that they aren't watching us? Do you think that there're going to stop coming for her? There's only as much as I can do but I need help, I can't do this on my own."

"Why do you need help? She's safe." I said. Why is he so angry for? It's not like she in danger right this moment. He stood and went to the door and opening it but doubted on leaving.

"What if it was Mia?" He asked. "You would've been sending guys to the end of the world to end her suffering done by a person that you in your heart would think of coming back for her. Don't question me about why should I protect my girl because at the end of the day I'm laying down with her and not you. If you're asking me would I put her in front of our friendship then yes because she gives me everything I want. She's my other half, the one I want to spend my entire life together." He answered and left the room.

I didn't know what to say and say it to who if he was gone anyway. What he said was on my brain. "What if it was Mia?" he asked. That question struck a nerve in me. What if it was her? I would do anything in my power to get her back, to protect her and to keep her safe. I would go over my Alpha if I have one hypothetically thinking of course. Why should I say hypothetically when it happen to her and Eric and Matthew was there every step of the way helping me. Stuck by me through thick and thin. Stand by me when I lost my cool and destroyed everything in sight but never left, never said what I was doing what's wrong because I always made him thought what if It was Christy in Mia's spot or Ann.
