Miss Anne series - Blood in the sun DISCONTINUED

Prologue

I planted another sunflower. I had grown fond of them since they grow so tall. They are also extremely yellow which is a happy colour. My garden was full of beautiful flowers but my favourite were sunflowers.
"Nice flowers." Said a voice from behind me.
"I could recognize that voice from anywhere!" I stated and turned quickly to find my best friend standing by my garden gate, "Miss Jane!" I ran over other and gave her a massive hug.
Miss Jane had blonde hair. She was wearing the most beautiful red lipstick and the nicest light blue dress. She was holding a brown purse with the initials of P.A on the front.
"So what do I owe this pleasure?" I asked with a grin. Miss Jane was my favourite person.
"Well! I got these tickets in the post to go to a really nice Inn near a beach and I thought why not go on holiday with my best friend!" She blurted out.
"Who did you get these tickets from?" I asked her.
"I have no idea. They just arrived in the post."
I nodded and then called for tea.
We both sat by my sunflower on a picnic mat.
"Miss Anne?" Miss Jane turned to me. I raised my eyebrows and grinned. "I also got this note in the post." Jane passed me an envelope with the initials P.A in the corner. I opened it slowly and it revealed a note which said,
"Look and watch behind you,
I send all my luck to you two,
Believe that you are having fun,
And find out why there is blood in the sun."
I felt my mouth open and I whispered a small, "Interesting."
"Miss Jane! Don't you see! We need to go on this holiday and figure out the murderer! Isn't that exciting!" I almost yelled.
"No Miss Anne. Its not. I hate murderers." She informed me.
"Come on! It will be fun! Let me get my things and we will be on our way!"
I ran inside and went into my bedroom and placed my suitcase on the covers. I placed a few dresses into the case and a few other items which I may need on my journey.
I took off my dirty trousers and top that I use for gardening and put on a gorgeous black dress. It seemed to match my brown hair.
I grabbed my case and ran down the stairs.
I waved to my house keeper and then joined Jane in her car.
"Isnt this amazing Miss Jane! Years of reading murder mysteries and I can finally investigate a real life crime!" I yelled excitedly.
"Well Miss Anne you have always wanted to be an investigator!" Jane laughed.
"What about you Miss Jane? What do you want to be?" I asked her.
"A business woman and I am sure I will be." She stated.

Hello.
Short chapter because its the prologue but yeah.
I really hope you like this story.
In the next chapter I will be reveling the suspects.
Remember no murder has happened yet!
