My name is Danny Thompson. I work for the SPD. I live in an apartment in Shadowhurst, Pennsylvania. My life, before recently, hasn't been weird at all. I have a good job, make good money, and still have time to waste away on reading, video games, and all of that other stuff. The last month or so has been the weirdest of my life. First, weird dead bodies have been showing up, drained of blood, with no evidence to who did it. I never believed in the supernatural, until now. Second, I've been having these weird blackouts at 12 each night for the past 3 weeks, ever since i got into a fight with this crazy guy. He was accused of murder, and we found evidence against him. He was some Italian guy.I believe his name was something like, "Alberto Landolfi". I think he was on LSD or something. He tried to bite me. He succeeded once and the bite cut really deep. I was hospitalized for around 5 or 6 days. He had some infection, but they must have cured it. They just sent me home afterwards. I have the same feeling i had in the hospital. I want to go to bed now, as it is getting late, but i still have work to do.
After messing around trying to solve the murders for around an hour, considering those are my most important cases right now, i hear a knock at the door. I walk to the door and open it. No one is there. "Hello?", I say hesitantly, terrified at what i see across the street. My mom. The only weird part is that she died 3 years ago, in a car crash. Her face is mangled and deformed into a terrifying smile. I haven't seen her in so long, and her she is. Standing across the hallway, right in front of me. She starts darting at me at an incredible speed. Usain Bolt couldn't match her speed. She jumps at me, and then disappears. After looking across the hallway, for a minute or so, i realize it was just a hallucination, yet it seemed so real. "It was just a hallucination, Danny". Only it didn't feel like one. I decide to go back into my apartment. I go inside, close my door, save my work, and then... Nothing.
ATTENTION! Sorry for making the first chapter so short. I used it to explain the main character and the events related to the events in the story. I hope you liked it!
