Chapter Six: Days

Once the bond was made, almost the feeling of loving Kaname also disappeared.

It was like it was never there. Gone out of the blue.

Now replacing that space was, Takuma.

Strolling down the busy streets, Takuma slid one of his arms and wrapped tightly around his beloved arm.

---------------------On Campus-------------------

Dropping off Zero at his "apartment", when Zero unlocked his door and was about to close it, Takuma did an unexpected thing.

He lowered his head down just low enough that he can caressed his lovers soft pink lips.

"I love you, Zero."

Sensing the older vampire getting more "sexually-horny" he pushed the aristocrat vampire, carefully not to hurt him.

He lowered his head and shook it. Feeling a light blush blossoming across his face.

"Thank you so much for today, Takuma-sempai. I really enjoyed it"

"I'm glad to hear that. Well I best be on my way."

" Yes, thank you again."

Nodding both headed a different direction. Zero going left and Takuma going right.

As Zero closed the door, he let all the emotions that he held in today, out. Happiness, joy, amusement, and love were all bouncing around the walls.

He let his memories recap everything that happened today.

He slowly let his hands roam freely. They came at a short stop when he touched his neck. The two small holes were still there. It wasn't as bad as he thought.

They were now bonded. He and Kaname were no longer bonded. He was free. He was finally free. No longer a knight or a slave. He was free.

Beads of tears of joy slipped down Zero's face. I'm free. Im finally free. Good Bye,

Unknown to Zero, Kaname felt the bond between him and Zero getting weaker and weaker.

Then suddenly it stopped. It all came to an end. It was gone. Like a candle being blown out, just gone. He felt a sharp pain in his neck but chose to ignore it. He already knew what it was.

Days and months have passed. Everybody seemed to except the fact that Takuma and Zero were bonded mates.

Some people still don't support it like Takuma's grandfather but there were also some people who are okay with it.

Like Sayori, she was a very supportive friend and was happily excepting that Zero now found love.

The most surprising out of all the supporting people were the fan girls/boys they didn't seem to hate them, they were in fact the opposite. Instead of whining about Takuma dating somebody, they cheered and congratulated them.

The Kurans seemed to treat them better. Kaname seemed to get on a page with Zero and Yuki was quite... quiet.

Warm lips met with soft pouty lips, it has been about three months now since they bonded.

They regret nothing.

Ever since they were bonded, they had changed from appearance to attitude.

Zero now had long silver hair that stopped right at his shoulders. His eyes were filled with life, no longer the lifeless ones. His attitude was completely different now. His features were more feminine since he was the submissive one.

He seemed more happier and was always smiling and grinning now. He no longer holds a scowl on his face.

Takuma on the other hand was a bit different. He was now yes, happy and filled with life. But one thing that was different between them were the fact that he was very overprotective.

A lot of people learned that the hard way...

They were now sitting on a couch and giving each other playful kisses but it soon came to a stop. Things got a bit serious. The air was starting to tense up around them

"Zero I know you still hold a grugde against Kaname."

Feeling a big invisible arrow that said "GUILTY" go threw his heart, he let out a a small sigh.

"What if I don't?"
"I know you do."
"So what, I'm still not going to go."

Kaname's birthday was coming up, a party was held on the moon dorms. Zero wanted to avoid anything that had "Kaname" or "Yuki" in it. Nothing but trouble he said.

"We have to go."
"No we don't."
"Yes we do."
"No we--- You know what fine we'll go, happy?"

"Yesssss!!!!! Thanks Zero." Jumping up and down like a child Takuma's face suddenly went to a slight blank.

The only reason why he wanted Zero to go was because he wanted Zero to get over Kaname. He knew deep down, there might be a slight chance that he still might like the pureblood.

"Alright that let's go shopping for a present."

"Fine. Fine."

Unknown to them there were two shadows in the trees staring down on them.

One of the shadows started to snicker.

"Today will be the day, I have my revenge."

"Zero"
