There is Light in Darkness

My Light

I'm falling....

              Falling...

                         Falling...

                                              .....into deep darkness.

I am scared and alone. No one is here but me. All I see is black and nothing but that.

             

                                         Falling...

Then, I see something bright coming towards me. It's small. Small as my littlest finger. But its light is bright enough to make me see myself. Could this be my key out of this darkness prison?

I touch the little light, but like a firework, it bursts and little sparks fly of the remaining light. Then the sparks disappear.
....And I am alone again in the darkness.

             Falling.....

I open my eyes to another bright light coming towards me. Unlike the one before, this one is as big as my hand. My hopes get up for this one because it looks like a stronger light. This for sure will free me out of here.
I touch the light, but like the one before, it explodes and disappears.
My heart felt like it broke into two pieces.
I lost hope.......

                                             Falling.....

Then, I see something again: another light. But this time, it is as small as my smallest nail. What good can it do? It's too small anyway. It'll disappear like the others. I ignore it: not even bothering to look at it.

I turn my head against the light, but it moves to face me. Then, I get a weird feeling. I don't know why but it's like my head tells me to ignore it because it'll disappear and never break me out of here. But deep down in my heart, a voice speaks out.

"Give it another shot. Anyway, three time's a charm!"

I try and listen to my head. But why does my heart seem so right?
Fine, I'll try it one more time. But if it doesn't work, I'll be ok. My chances are one out of a million, right?
So, I will be strong and accept whatever happens.

I hold my breath and reach my hand out to touch the petite light.
I close my eyes while I yell in my head:

"Please work. Please work. Please work!!!"

After I touch it, the light exploded. But when it does, something so bright surrounded me that I had to cover my eyes.
But when I opened them, I couldn't believe what was in front of me.

Blue sky, clouds, lush trees, waterfalls, streams, birds, and so much more! Everything was so lively!

I felt something soft brush against my body as the wind blew. I looked and saw I wore a white dress which was cloth. It felt so comfortable. It was better than the rough rags I wore when I was still trapped in the darkness.

I also felt something behind itch my ear. I feel the back of it and see a white flower. I look at it with awe: impressed by its beauty. I put the flower back on when I hear voices coming from behind me.

"Vio...!!!!"
"Viole...!!!"
"Violet!!!!!"

I couldn't really understand what the voices were saying, but when they got closer, I could hear them clearly.
Violet....

Now I remember, that's my name! The voices came closer as I saw who they were. I smiled the biggest smile I had. The voices turned out to be 6 girls. Their names were Gladera, Allykana, Lianna, Lanala, Kaminza, and Tatiya!

These girls were my best friends! They ran to me and gave me a big hug. I cried tears of joy as I hugged them all back. We all laughed after, as we ran hand in hand in the vast forest.

I now knew the light I can keep forever in my heart:

                            My friends are my light.
