Chapter 40

There's a secret that I've kept for a long time.
A secret that could jeopardise my friendship.
A secret that could hurt people.
And that can ruin them.
But in others eyes it could be a pleasant surprise. A blessing

"So erm ... what did you want to speak to me about?" He said reorganising his wardrobe

"I have kept this secret for so long and I wanted to tell you about it before it's to late" I said looking down at my shoes as i fiddle with my fingers

"Taylor you can tell me anything" He smiled widely.

"We'll remember that day I came over to Hazel's and I wanted to tell hazel something that I couldn't tell anybody else but her" I muttered before taking a deep breath as I watch him nod his head for me to continue.

"When I told you guys I was R-ra ...sexually abused"
I said feeling a lump form in my throat

"Listen you don't need to continu-" he said but I needed to continue
"Well I held back on something which was important" he looked at me surprised but confused
"I was pregnant and y-your the father" I said squishing my eyes shut to scared to see his facial expressions

"Wha-what!? why are you telling me now when there's a couple of months to mine and hazels wedding?!"
He gritted his teeth furiously as his once hazel orbs soon turned black and cold instantly causing me to shiver.
I had never seen Austin this angry before not even when we dated.

"I hid it away from you because you were so happy with Hazel and I didn't want to wreck it and I was going through a rough time I-I was scared okay!
I needed to tell you now before you and hazel got married so Imogen can at least know who her father is "
I blurted out as tears slid down my jawline.
Suddenly, I felt my back collide with the wall.
He had pinned me to the wall making my head smack off the wall as he gripped on my wrist tightened whilst he placed them above my head.

"You did this on purpose, didn't you?"
He growled in my face through gritted teeth as his jaw tightens making his teeth grunt together.

"I didn't ...I swear I would never do something like this to you "
I choke out in fear.
He tightens his grip on my arm causing me to whimper slightly.

"Yeah you did! This was your plan all along ...to become friends with us, ruin mine and Hazel's relationship so you could make me look stupid!"
Anger boiled through his system.
It churned within, hungry for destruction, and he know the feeling too well to handle it properly.
He tightened his grip on my arms again making me wince lightly as he closes the space between us.
He was very deluded.

"Your not that special Austin...why would I go through all that trouble just to ruin your relationship after the wedding I was heading to Australia with Imogen anyway"
I don't know why I said that as it was provoking him even more but at this point it didn't matter as everything I said he wouldn't believe.

"LIAR!"
He spat as he punched his fist into the wall right beside my head.
He was crazy.

"I'm not I swear-" he let go of my arms I thought he was starting to calm down so I was about to open my mouth but to speak up again but was cut off by a warm sting on my left cheek.
I held my cheek as a silent tear drops rolled one by one down my cheek.

"Don't answer me back!"
He begun to punch me which caused me to drop on my knees in pain.
"Now get up" He murmured as he kicked me in the ribs
"I said get up!" He screamed as he continued to kick me.

This went on for a while  until every lim in my body felt paralysed as I just silently watched him continue to constantly kicked me in my ribs, my stomach and my face.
I stared at him blankly.
I was so numb.
I couldn't feel anything anymore ...just the sound of my bones cracking and the faint screams of his voice.
Then my eyes started to flutter and as much as I tried to keep them open they eventually closed making my surroundings black the last thing I heard was the pounding beat of my heart.
I swear I experienced this before but it was a different scenario.
It was like my nightmare the one I had in the car when I was dating Austin when he introduced me to "the crew" properly.

"Mommy, mommy wake up ...please mommy"
I hear Imogen crying.
I could only hear through my left ear but I still couldn't move or open my eyes.

"GET OUT!!!"

"Mommy" Imogen screamed it broke my heart to hear her scream with so much pain and worry but I couldn't do anything.
I couldn't hold her I couldn't comfort her I couldn't even tell her everything's going to be okay.
"I SAID GET OUT!!!" I heard Austin again but I heard a small thump vibrate against the floor, it was loud enough to hear from downstairs.
"Listen to me when I say something ...okay"
I could tell he was saying that through gritted teeth.
Imogen just do as his says ....mommy's fine but if you don't listen you could get hurt.
I don't want him to hurt my beautiful baby ...my little Imogen.

Hope you enjoyed the chapter and I just wanted to dedicate this chapter to @austin_mahone123 she gave me an idea on chapter 12 where she thought Taylor would be pregnant, so I thought it would be a great plot twist for chapter 40 to make her have a child with Austin .
Also when I first started this book I made Hazel and Taylor have night mares I spoke to my friend Tia about it on the way home and I later decided I wanted to connect the nightmares to other chapters to this book so this idea worked perfectly with this chapter.
