Reid was getting dressed for his date; the thing is he didn't know which one to go to. After he was finished changing he picked up his cellphone and was pondering on which girl to take out tonight.
'I want to go out with Carmen tonight, I really, really do.... I just don't want to cancel my date with Tina because I don't want to upset Tina or Morgan or Garcia..'
He began dialing a number and put the phone up to his ears. All he could do was wait now.
One ring.
Two rings.
Three rings.
"Hello?" A female voice answered from the other line.
"Hey, I'm really sorry for the short notice, but I have to postpone our date. I'm so sorry."
"No, I understand. If you can't make it tonight than it's no big deal."
"Are you sure?"
"Positive. We'll reschedule for next week some time."
"Okay, sounds fantastic! There's an art exhibit downtown that has an ancient art exhibit showing next Friday if you're interested."
"That sounds amazing. I'm down for that."
"That's great. I have to go now, but I'll talk to you later."
After saying their goodbyes, Reid left for his date.
He entered Palena where he saw her waiting at the front of the restaurant for him. She greeted him with open arms and embraced him with a huge hug. She only reached up to his neck even in her 7 inch heels.
"It's nice to see you again," Tina said.
Reid gave her a polite smile. "Nice to see you again too."
"You look very handsome," she complimented.
"And so do you."
He figured that she wanted him to check her out because of the little spin she did, showing off every angle of her body. She was wearing a dark blue mini pencil skirt that would ride up if she ever bent over, a white deep v-neck top and she had her hair curled. Her smile was probably the best thing she was wearing. It's as if she doesn't go anywhere without it.
They took a seat at a table near the right side of the restaurant and started to read through the menu. Reid read through the menu like nothing and he already knew what he wanted to order. He peered up from his menu to call over a waiter. He was surprised at the sight that he saw. He saw Carmen walk through the front door with this guy beside her. He was about the same height as Reid with short dark brown hair. He was wearing straight jeans and a simple top. But Reid wasn't paying much attention to the guy, he was paying more attention to Carmen. She was wearing a long sleeve, mid thigh high red dress with a deep v cut out back. Her hair was in loose curls. It hugged every single one of her curves. She soon noticed his gaze and looked at him in shock.
"Are you okay?"
Reid soon snapped out of it and looked at Tina who was looking at him weirdly. He put on a crooked smile.
"Yeah, sorry, just thought I saw someone that I knew," he explained.
Tina looked skeptical about that and turned around to see who Reid was looking at. Her eyes met Carmen's, but Carmen soon turned away. Tina turned back around to Reid with an envious look in her eyes.
"Who's she?" She asked, folding her arms around her chest.
"She's a-"
"Friend?"
