A man went to the nearby mountain to climb alone as he always did

and as he climbed up it got dark ,very dark

He was almost to the top when one of the hooks holding him broke

and he dropped a couple of feet
And the next hook stopped his fall but because of the speed of him falling it broke too.

And so he continued to fall quite a bit longer and then ......

He stopped suddenly as the rope tied to his waist was somehow still tied to a hook that did not break

Not knowing how far he fell or where he was on the Mountain. he held on to the rope in fear

Now he was a God fearing man and in that moment in the dark

He heard a Voice

It said......

IF YOU FEAR,TRUST & LOVE ME

CUT. THE. ROPE. I WILL KEEP YOU SAFE

Now he didn't know what to do...hold on and be safe on the rope

or trust in the voice

He held on even tighter to the rope

And the Voice said

YOU DO NOT TRUST, FEAR & LOVE ME

THIS IS THE LAST TIME I WILL TELL YOU........CUT THE ROPE

He didn't and so as the night when on it got colder.
Really cold

And when the sun came up that morning the man's family went looking for him and found him hanging by the waist frozen solid still holding on tightly
