A\N: Just to be clear I did not come up with this idea! The person who wrote this will be in the picture above.
Just so you know, I changed the name of the character. Okay now the story ......."I am going to miss you so much Maddy!" My aunt told me as she was starting to tear up.
You see today is the day that I am going to go live with my dad. My mom recently died from cancer, and I have been living with my aunt for the pass few weeks because while I am here living with my aunt, he is in Chicago doing who knows what. My mom and dad split up when I was younger, and I have been living with my mom for the past few years of my life, and I haven't seen my dad ever since.
As I boarded the airplane I wondered what my dad would look like after all of these years. All I knew was that he lived in Chicago. That's it. I know nothing more of my dad. I don't even know his birthday for crying out loud! I wonder if he knows what I look like. The last time he saw me I was two years old.
While I was on the airplane wondered what it would be like living with my dad instead of my mom. I hope it all goes well.
Once the plane landed, I got my bags and waited for any familiar faces. (A\N: I skipped a lot of what usually happens at the airport because I have only been on a plane once and I forgot what happened 😂😂)
15 minutes passed. And still no one familiar
30 minutes passed, and still nothing.
45 minutes passed, and you can guess what I saw. Nothing.
I waited, and waited, and no one seemed familiar. Well to be fair my dad might have already been here but I just missed him. I hope that wasn't it.
Eventually I saw a tall man wearing a suit holding up a sign with my name on it. I didn't know why exactly, so I decided to go and see if the guy was here for me or someone else.
I was secretly hoping it was me, but at the same time I wasn't.
A\N: I am sorry this is really short I was hoping this was going to be longer. I will be writing more though. So yeah. I hope you liked it. 😊
