He hugged me as we danced underneath the stars. My head layed on his chest like a light feather dwindling in the wind. I felt his hands on my back. It comforted me. I moved my head slightly upwards, and saw him lokking down at me.Him. Derek. The guy i have been secretly in love with for over one and a half years. Our eyes met and they locked together.Nothing, and i mean nothing, could be better than this. He leaned in for a kiss, and our lips met once again. I felt his lips gently tough mine and his tongue pleading for his entry, I accepted. We stood there silently swaying back and forth allowing the wind to carry us.
After it was over, I peered up at him and he looked down at me.
"Come on, we should go now. You know before it gets too late." He said.
'Okay, I guess you are right." I replied in a sorta dissapointed tone.
He grabed my hand, and pulled me into the deep dark forest. We walked together. He led me through it like he had been there a million times. But all of a sudden he stoped.
"Wait." He said ergently.
"What ?" I replied.
"Wha- What time is it." He glanced at his watch.
"Shit!" He exclaimed. He had a worried yet mad look on his face.
"What? What is wrong?"
But before I had finished my sentence, he jerked me forward and we sprinted through the dark trees.
When we got in the parking lot, he shoved me in the passenger seat.
"What the hell is going on!?" I yelled.
"Sydney I have no time to really explain but all I really have to do right now is take you home." He said.
I nodded and he started speeding down the road.
"Holy shit! What has gotten into you!" I yelled
But he didnt reply. Something was going on.
As we sped, I felt something, something strange. The feeling that someone or something was following us. I turned around, but nothing was there. I turned to Derek and saw he was looking in his review mirrior every two seconds.
" What are you doing? Nothing is there." I said
" Not now. But something is coming." He said
Holy shit! That was really weird. Why would he say that? I don't know why but it really freaked me out.
I turned back to the front of the car, and looked straight ahead. Nothing was there it was pitch black. All I could see was the lights that glowed in the truck and Dereks face. I looked closer. I saw something. It was small but it was there. A little dot of light far in the distance. I stared hard at it. Was it a car up ahead or something else? All I knew at this point was that it was getting closer.
After the next few seconds went by, the light got bigger and bigger. I glanced at Derek. He was looking straight at the light. when it got a little closer is eyes widend.
"Oh no. There here." He whispered
"What?" I replied.
He didnt answer. He stard at the light. It got closer.
It wasnt a car.
And it wasnt human.
