'Run' Those were the words I told myself as I stumbled on the dirt path, trying to escape the party following me. 'Run Run RUN!' I told myself, pushing myself farther. I was tired, I could barely feel my legs. My sides hurt, and my arms ached, but I wouldn't stop, I wouldn't fall prey to these people. However, It hurt so badly...and no matter how much I Hated to admit it, my body was giving up.

My legs stopped moving, causing me to trip over a long tree root. Damn, if only that hadn't been there. I fell to the ground, my face in the dirt. When would the madness end? I desperetly tried to push myself up, clinging onto that last ounce of hope within me, only to have it crushed. My arms wouldn't move.

The voices behind me came closer and closer, and my head spun. Why were they chasing me anyway?! What was their problem with me!? A few tears began to escape my blue eyes. I never wanted any of this to happen, I was careful. I would take too much from the town, I didn't ever hurt anyone, so why would these people want me...

I tasted my tears mix with the metallic taste of blood, running down my cheek and on my lips. I felt so broken, So helpless. Finally, I heard the group of three behind me come to a stop. I could feel their gaze piercing through my back. "You put up quite a fight young girl" a mans voice said. I trwmbeld slightly. I didn't want to die...

My vision was hazy, and I couldn't make out any more of his words. Yet somehow though my wavering consciousness, I could hear two words ring loud and clear. "Mistake Child" And that's when the group opened up beneath my feet, and I fell. I let put a gut wrenching scream of terror, before my vision finally went black.

My blue eyes shot open, a bead of sweat dripping down my forehead. I sat up, placing a head on my hand. Damn...was it even possible to sweat in such cold weather? I sighed and I looked at my surroundings. The same old torn up broken manor. The floors were cracked, shelves broken, tables flipped, to say the least it was an absolute wreck. I found myself clenching the wooly blanket wrapped around me to my chest, closing my eyes. 8 years ago...those were times I did not want to remember.

I picked up a cracked piece of glass of the floor, looking at my appearance in it. Wide blue eyes, shoulder length blonde hair, nothing special. The only thing special about me was that I looked Fifteen...it was hard to be 23 and not look it. I shook my head and tossed the glass elsewhere, looking out of a broken window at the forest around me. The wind was blowing hard, the air chilly. Winter was coming, and I was not too exited. I needed to stock up...nobody would be selling food in such weather.

I sighed gently and walked over to a small chair beside the blanket and the pillow on the floor I was previously laying on. I wrapped the tattered cloak around my shoulders, putting the hood up,and placing two daggers inside. It was better to be safe than sorry...I learned that quickly growing up on her own. "Lily" I called, glancing over at the snow white wolf laying beside her pillow. The Chains ear twitched, signaling she heard me. The chain sighed and stood up, stretching before bounding over to me.

I had make a contract with a chain in the abyss 3 months ago. Lily the Bloody White Wolf, a well known powerful chain of the abyss. She was known to be very strong, and very wise. I shook my head and scratched her between the ears, smiling and kneeling down beside her. This chain was my only companion...but I shook the thought. There was no need to think of such sad things now.

"Come on Lily" I called as I walked out the doors of the broken down manor, starting the short walk to the town. I smiled gently, looking at the town busting with life. It was so lively, so full of energy. Everyone seemed so...happy. Something I haven't felt in a very long time. I looked down and sighed and a slunk in the shadows, occasionally snatching something from a stand, something nobody would notice. It saddened me that I had to do this, however I didn't have much of a choice.

I filled up the tiny basket with potato's, and fruits and such, things that might last a while. I could feel Lily slowly following me, not seen by the others. I shook my head and smiled gently, rubbing my eyes. I was so tired...nightmares of the past haunted me throughout my sleep. What made those happen anyway...I didn't usually have bad dreams anymore, or any dreams.

The air was freezing as I walked, passing happy couples and picture perfect families. I gave them all small smiles, yet felt a part of me die inside. Why was I always so...alone? I shook my head and continued to walk, trying to get enough supplies to last me through the winter.

•Meanwhile At Pandora Headquarters

A man with purple hair paced the room, a small smirk on his face. He let out a chuckle as another man with glasses read the case to him. This would be a piece of cake. "Xerxes, are you sure you can handle her on your own?" The man asked the one named Xerxes "Yes I am very sure, this girl has avoided Pandora far too long" He stated plainly, eating a sugar cubes from a tin in his hand. "Alright then~" He chimed, standing up "Let the Chase Begin then."
