Emily's P.O.V.
As I turned around to say something, he was gone. Like magic. I walked away, thinking to myself. How did he know my name? Why haven't I seen him before? Does he like me? I smirked at the last question. He couldn't. Or could he?
As I walked into class, to my surprise, he was sitting there, talking to the teacher at her desk. He glanced over at me. He smiled and his teeth were so pearly white. I felt like I couldn't move. I felt traumatized by his smile. Suddenly I felt a push from behind making me fall forward and dropping all of my stuff. Again. I groaned and looked up to see Mariah and her friends walk by, then she stopped and glared at me. "Eh, look at her. Oops, was there someone standing there? I hadn't noticed." She said as bit her pointer finger nail.
I groaned in anger as I picked up my stuff and they slowly walked away in laughter. As I gathered my stuff, I felt a shadow crowd over me, then I felt two fingers touch mine as I froze in shock. I looked up to see him. Jack. He smiled, his white teeth glistening. "Are you okay?" He asked, looking down, quickly picking up the rest of my stuff.
I stood up and as he stood up, he handed me my stuff. "Emily....?" He said after a long stare, I looked over his shoulder to see everyone staring at us, mouths dropped open, phones flashing, shocked expressions. As I grabbed my stuff and walked around him, people were still staring, some even whispered. I sat in the far right corner and slid down in my seat,. I was astonished, yet embarrassed.
As the bell rung, I slowly gathered my stuff, hoping not to drop anything, that was until I felt breathing on my neck. I turned around and my face was just inches from his. His breath smelt like strawberries. He cleared his throat and that's when I came back to reality. "T-Thanks for helping me earlier." I stated as I grabbed my things.
"You're welcome, I mean I wasn't going to let them push you around." He said as his eyes traveled down to my neck. "Yeah, thanks." I said as I tried to walk around him, but he stepped in my way. "Maybe , just maybe we could go on a date tonight?" He asked. I sucked my teeth. "For one, we just met, two, I barely know you. You could be a serial killer or something." I said. He smirked, revealing his perfect teeth again.
"One, I'm not a serial killer." He said, moving closer me, making me take a step back. "Secondly, we met this morning." He added as he moved closer, knowing me, I almost fell into the desk as he caught me by my waist. His arm strength was so tight and firm. I didn't even budge because the sensation that was being sent through my body at the time was indescribable. I examined him.
"Emily, will you?" He asked. "N-No, I can't. I have Calculus homework and I really need to study for the test tomorrow." I said as I looked at him. "Just for ten minutes. Maybe we can study together." He suggested. I looked at him, curiously. "Fine, let me write down my address." I said as he let go of me. As I wrote down my address, I also wrote down my number. "Pick me up around 7." I said as I handed him the paper. He examined it and looked at me.
"This isn't a fake address is it?" He asked, lifting an eyebrow. I shook my head. "Real, just knock on the door. I'm sure my father would love to meet you." I said as I walked around him. As I walked to my next class, questions began to form in my head again.
We've been in school for months now, how come I never noticed him? Why is he so nice to me? And that one question popped in my head again. Does he like me?
Jack's P.O.V
As I turned off my car, I examined her house. Two story, cut grass, around 4-5 bed rooms, 3 bathrooms. As I opened my car door and made my way up her driveway, her front door flew open, and I swear, when I saw her, my face turned pale. She had on a pink lace dress, with the sleeves down to her elbows, and some pink sandals. Her dark, dirty blond hair into a ponytail and a black, skinny waist belt around her dress. She was dressed to perfection. I hope she was fine with you just having a picnic in the park..
As I reached her, she closed the door and turned to me. "Don't you want me to meet your parents?" I asked her. She shook her head. "Not tonight." She replied. As we walked back to my car in silence, I opened the door for her and she smiled. "Thank you." She replied. I nodded as I closed the door.
As I got in, I looked over to her. She looked back at me. "What?" She said as I turned the key in the ignition. "Nothing." I replied as I slowly pulled from in the front of her house. "Yes it is. Something's bothering you." She said as she placed on her seat belt. "Don't you think you're a little overdressed?" I asked, changing the subject. "I mean, we are going to study." I added. She sat quietly for a few seconds. "I-I just felt the need to dress up tonight." She said quietly. I looked over at her. "I didn't mean it in an offensive way, you look beautiful. When I saw you, you took my breath away Emily." I said as I quickly turned away.
I was fighting the urge of not biting her neck right then and there like I was in class earlier. I could feel her heartbeat quicken within the second. I turned to her. "Are you okay?" I asked. She looked at me nervously. "I'm fine." She replied. We drove in silence for the rest of the ride. As we reached the park, it was deserted. I went around and opened the door for her, before she could protest.
She shyly smiled and got out. As I opened the trunk, I grabbed the blanket and the picnic basket and made my way under the nearest tree, making sure we had a street light. As I placed down the picnic basket down, I spread out the blanket slowly. I then placed the picnic basket down on the blanket and sat down. She looked around. I knew what she was thinking. She thought I was gonna kill her. "Emily." I touched her arm as I quickly stood up. She jumped.
"I'm not gonna bite." I said. "I'm sorry I'm so tense." She replied. "It's fine. I get it." I said as I sat back down. She slowly leaned down, making sure she wouldn't expose herself and looked at me. "Its just that it's my first date." She said.
I raised an eyebrow. "You consider this a date?" I asked as I opened the picnic basket. She looked down and she blushed. "N-No, I didn't me-." I cut her off short. "Doesn't really matter. I consider this a date also. So I'm kinda nervous too." I said as I ate a cookie. "You don't seem like it." She said as she grabbed a cookie and slowly bite into it.
"Loosen up Emily. I mean come on. Its night time, we're in the park alone, under the star gaze, relax." I said as I laid back on the blanket looking up at the stars. "You're right. I do need to relax." She said as she laid next to me.
Hours later, we were cuddled up on the blanket, her asleep in my arms and my hands caressing her stomach and slowly traveling up her side and moving her curls of her ponytail from her neck. I heard her groan a little. "Jack, what are you doing?" She said in a whisper. "Nothing, just looking at you." I said as I slowly kissed her neck. At that exact moment, I knew she was the one. I wanted to turn her, but it was too early. I had to make her want to be with me. Want to be with me immortally. "I'm cold." She mumbled as she scooted closer to me. She then grabbed my hand and wrapped it around her wait as she interlocked our fingers.
"Maybe we could lay in the car then." I suggested. She shook her head slightly. "But then we wouldn't be under the stars." She said. She then turned to me and opened her eyes. "Emily, you're beautiful." I said. She smiled and I kissed her. One thing led to another and next thing I know, we were naked in the starry night, covered by the blanket.
Emily's P.O.V
As I slowly closed the door behind me and crept up the stairs, I walked into my room and closed the door quietly. I stripped from my clothes and got into the shower. It was 6 in the morning and I wasn't planning on going to school today. Not after last night. As I shampooed my hair, I heard a knock at my door. "Come in." I said. As I heard the door opened, it was my mother in her morning robe, which meant she just woke up and was deciding on what to make for breakfast.
"I didn't hear you come in last night." She said as she slowly closed the door. "Well, you know, studying." I replied. "Did you have fun?" She asked. "A lot, he's a really nice guy." I said as a smile slid across my face. "What's his name again? Jake? James?" She asked. "Jack, mom." I said as I rinsed my hair. "Jack. Well next time we want to meet him." She insisted as she opened the door. "Yeah, next time." I said quietly, looking down as she closed the door.
