on monday i taught my guitar class. my students asked if i sang her the song. i told them no, but i'm planning on it.
on tuesday i sat in abbie's room all day, waiting for her to wake up.
on wednesday i wasn't allowed in the room as the doctors gave her more treatment.
on thursday i went to my appointment. i asked her if people could hear us while they're asleep like abbie. she said yes. she asked if the night terrors were coming back. i told her they were, but when i'm with abbie, they seem to go away. she said it seems as if were making progress. but i can barely tell.
on friday abbie's family came by. they were happy to see that someone was always by her side and she found someone who appreciates her. and i felt happy.
on saturday i wrote.
i don't think all writers are sad, she said.
i think it's the other way around-
all sad people write.on sunday my sister came by the hospital. we went for a walk around the campus and she told me her boyfriend of two years asked her to marry him. she said that when abbie wakes up, she's going to ask her to be her matron of honor. i told her that would be nice.
on sunday night, it stormed and i prayed for abbie to wake up so she could see the lightening. she didn't.
