7. Beaches,Dinner and.... Crushes.

Chloe's POV.

After 2 months.

We were thinking that what are we gonna do this year because our semester was gonna start in next august which meant that we will have to figure out something to keep us busy this year.

"But what are we gonna do??" Tori was tired of finding a means to get rid of our boredom.

"Exactly what are we gonna do, I can't just sit like this for one year" I hollered.

We both tried everything to defeat boredom.
Only it always found its way back.

"We can babysit the kids" I was kinda excited when this idea hit me.

Tori gave me a death glare. She was bored of babysitting her Lil cousins so basically I was just rubbing salt into her wounds.

"Okay, bad idea" I frowned.

"Very bad idea Chloe" she grumbled.

After hours of cracking our brains. Tori decided to take part in a short film competition and well for me I decided to babysit some kids to raise some money. The MASKED MAN took all the cash I had and I needed money. And basically I only wanted to prove it to my mom that I am responsible enough to live in New York City by myself.

Lucas told me that after dad's incident we moved from Canada to Albany.
And now from Albany, I had to move to New York City, and for that I had to convince my mom that I am capable of taking care of myself.

After long hours of babysitting I decided to hit the beach with Tori.
But first we had to pick a perfect beach wear.
She went for a purple halter with blue denim shorts and a purple pair of flip flops just to fit her outfit.
I wore a teal and black tankini with black shorts and multi colored flip flops.
We looked pretty hot. No doubt.

Passing the day at the beach was just beyond amazing. We both love swimming more than anything and that beach scene, who doesn't enjoy a good sunset and happy couples.

After the beach, we came back home and as we entered mom told me to change as Lucas was here and we were planning to go out on a dinner.
And obviously I had to drag Tori with me.
After Tori went home I asked my mom. "Mom can I take Tori??"

"Sure honey" my mom replied sweetly.

I could hear Lucas asking mom about Tori and mom explaining my mad love for Tori.
Its not like Lucas doesn't know Tori, but they haven't met since a long time.

I got upstairs and invited Tori.
And now the toughest part, deciding what to wear.
I went for multidirectional striped mock-turtleneck fit-and-flare dress, plus black peep toes.

A bit of blush, mascara and a peach colored lip-gloss.
And I am good to go.

While I was admiring myself, the bell was ringing.
It must be Tori.

"Lucas, open the door" I yelled.
No reply.
"Lucassss" I shouted out his name again.
Ugh I will go open it myself.

As I made my way downstairs and then to the door I shouted "open the freaking door some-"

Wait.
What.

What I just saw was weird yet incredible.
Tori and Lucas, facing each other. Staring at each other.
Tori was looking really cute, she was wearing a patchwork fit-and-flare dress with blue, green and striped panels, plus a high-shine black clutch and golden pumps.
At first the staring was cute but then it got creepy so yeah I had to interrupt.

"Ahem ahem" I coughed.
They stepped away from each other.
"I don't actually mind you people playing the who-can-stare-at-each-other-without-blinking game, but trust me its creeping me out" I said giving both of them a smirk.

They were beyond embarrassed. Both of them blushed a little bit and YES I NOTICED IT PEOPLE.
Do not try to hide it from me.

They looked away trying to brush off the awkward situation.
My babies. Adorable.

"Uh huh, okay too much awkwardness, time for introduction" I said, trying to thin out the tension.

"Lucas this is Tori my very beautiful BFF and Tori this is Lucas my handsome brother" I said looking at both of them.

"And yeah, both of you can thank me afterwards for the extra bit of praise" I smirked again.

Today was definitely my day.

The dinner was absolutely fantastic. I caught Tori and Lucas looking at each other again and again but didn't say anything because I am evil and I was planning on teasing both of them about it later.

"Lucas" I knocked at his door.
"Yeah Chlo what's up" he answered as he opened his door.
"Do you like staring at Tori?" I smirked.
"Yes, no, wait what" he was confused as hell.
"Okay so if you try to deny the fact that you were looking at Tori again and again today, I am gonna beat the shit out of you" I rolled my eyes.

I am gonna get the info out of him and he knows that I have my ways.

"Chloeee" he kinda blushed.

"Oh my God Lucas, you just blushed"

"No, I didn't, something's wrong with you, go and sleep"

"Um, okay then I think, I will tell Tori that she can go out with umm yeah Brandon"
I said as I made my way towards the door.
I don't know what I just said, I just made up this guy's name and he doesn't even exist. Wow Chloe wow.

"Hey, listen wait," he eventually spoke up.

Believe me; I was taking small steps just so that he stops me in time. Ahh I know Lucas too much, don't I?

"No no its okay, I can't force something which doesn't exist" I acted.

"Okay stop acting, that's too much" he laughed.

"Is it?" I laughed along with him.

"But hey it worked didn't it? You really do like her, don't you?" I said with hope shining bright in my eyes.
Okay so I am excited about having Tori as my brother's wife. Or perhaps I am just planning things by myself, but hey, miracles do happen so there is always hope.

"I kinda do, but what if she doesn't"

I felt like banging my head on a wall. Are guys really stupid to not know when a girl clearly likes him?
Tori was staring at him and I saw that, didn't he?

Ugh guys will always be guys.

"Lucas you are my brother and I cannot believe how can you possibly be this stupid??" I was irritated.

"Whatt?" He really is stupid.

After explaining to him the logic of a girl having crush and how a girl acts when she likes someone. He kinda understood.

"So do you think she likes me too??" he questioned.

"Ughh Lucas, I just wasted like 10 minutes explaining all this to you" I rolled my eyes.

"So she likes me" was he asking me or telling me.

My ever so confused brother.

"Yes doofus she does" I smiled.

"Thanks Chlo" he said.

"Anything for my peasant brother," I laughed.

"Yeah whatever," he said.

"Okay so its late and I need my beauty sleep , so I am going to bed , good night " I yawned.

"Good night Chloe" he replied.
