i was sitting at my moms house with my mom talking about the new house me and yn are gonna get. things been going real good for us lately and now that we done highschool and shes doing beauty school, its about the right time to get ourselves a place.
"the house got 5 bed rooms and 5 bathrooms, each bedroom with its own bathroom ma" i said showing my mom the picture.
"august that's really nice but that's too much for two people, don't ya'll wanna start small. like 2 bed room 1 bathroom" my mom said pushing the laptop away.
"yeah but you know niggas gonna wanna sleep over and yn's friends might want too. and for the kids"
"what kids? ain't no damn kids" my mom said.
i started laughing "soon im gonna have kids with that girl! you see her? shes gorgeous"
"ya'll still young, i don't wanna hear no kids right now"
"yeah yeah" august said.
"and you haven't even seen yn in 2 weeks because of your shows" she said.
"yeah i know she gonna see her baby today"
"and does she know about the house yet?"
"nah its a surprise mom thats the whole point, she gonna be like oh my god august you got the house oh my gosh" i said trying to imitate yn's voice . "you know how girls be, so surprised"
my mom laughed "boy you too much" she said. "okay what about yn's mom, does she know ya'll getting a house?"
"ooool" i looked away. "no that never came up"
"what? ya'll been planning to get a house but dont tell her mother? the one who raised her" my mom said.
yeah i know its wrong but yn and her mom don't get along well, like i try to tell yn i wanna tell her about moving out and starting our life but she feels like her mom is not gonna agree with it. i want yn to be happy and if i tell her mom about the moving out subject , she gonna be mad as hell at me.
"yn is gonna tell her mom when shes ready and right now shes not ready... shes preparing herself to you know.. tell her mom shes moving out and shes gone" i said.
"well shes going to have to tell her soon, you already getting the damn house august" my mom said.
"i know mom i know, trust me everything's gonna be fine! i said.
"mhm" my mom said.
