Chapter 27 Waiting

Today has been a lazy day we all just sat around watching TV and relaxing besides Joshua he has been gone half of the day to help out his mom over at his house. Me and Chelsea also has been packing for her hospital stay well she has been packing for hers and I have been packing for when I have the babies so I'm ready all I have to do is grab my bag and go. We decided to eat to eat dinner early since we all had to get up early, Joshua got the day off for tomorrow so he could be there with me keeping me company while Chelsea is in surgery.

We had chicken and dumplings for dinner and for desert we had home made banana ice cream, one of my favorite things momma use to make for my birthday every year. Once we were done eating we all sat down and watched a little bit of TV before we went to bed. We watched the walking dead and once it was over we were all beat and tired, Before I went to bed I gave Chelsea a hug and told her everything will be alright tomorrow and she will clean and fresh like she was reborn. We laughed a little and then went up stairs to go to bed.

Before I went to bed I did my routine : brush teeth, hair, used the restroom, and through on my PJs. When I was done I got into bed with Joshua but I couldn't go to sleep something just has been on my mind that I could not get off.

"Hey baby I have a question?" I turned over to look at him

"Yes baby?" he said in a sleepy voice.

"We need to pick out baby names soon I'm getting tired of just saying girls I know its easy to say but you know what I mean baby?" I rubbed my bump and looked up at Joshua.

"I know baby we can talk about it tomorrow I'm beat and we have to get up early baby but I promise we will talk about names tomorrow." He gave me a kiss and then wrapped his arms around me to make me stop worrying.

"okay baby." I gave him a smile and turned off the lamp and turned over for the night.

The next morning we all got up at 4:00am. To make sure we had enough time to get ready and plus the two hour drive to the hospital we wanted to hurry and beat the morning rush hour traffic.

On the way to the hospital me and Chelsea fell back to sleep while Joshua drove lucky for him he drunk two cups of coffee so he be awake for the ride.

Once we got there Chelsea had to fill out a bunch of paper work and then finally got to go back to the waiting room where soon they will call her when it is time for her to have surgery.

The nurse made us wear a bracelet thing with her name on since we are the closes family she gots cause I didn't figure her dad would show up it would amaze me if he did.

We waited for about thirty to thirty-five good minutes until they finally called her back. She wanted me to come back with her while she got prep for surgery. I sat down in a chair while they weighed her, took her blood pressure, and then seen how tall she was.

Once they were finished they took us back to were there was a lot of hospital beds were and they closed off the curtain so she could change into her gown and socks. Then they made her go pea in a cup to make sure she didn't have any drugs in her system or any infections and stuff.

After she handed the nurse her cup of pea she got onto the bed and gave me her stuff to hold onto I covered her up with the sheet and gave her a hug and kiss on the cheek before they took her off to the surgery. I held back the tears and tried to stay positive repeating to myself everything going to be alright.

I walked back into the waiting room were Joshua was sitting playing on his phone. I sat down and played on my phone also try to make the time go faster. Thirty minutes go by and still nothing I was getting worried I know it takes longer for surgery but my fears keep getting to me, I sat there trying to push all the bad things and thoughts out of my mind and think positive and happy thoughts then I remembered something.
