Lumilipas ang mga araw na maayos naman ang lahat. Walang gulo at saya lang ang nararamdaman ko. Nagkakapalagayan na din kami ng loob ni Jewel na para bang normal lang ang lahat. Walang problema sa pagitan namin. Pero napapansin kong si Darren at Pearl ay naiilang sa isa't isa. Ano kayang problema ng dalawang 'to?
"Jewel."
"Why?"
"What happened to Darren and Pearl? Parang hindi sila okay."
"Pfftt. Nagka-aminan na kasi sila."
"Really? Sino ang naunang umamin? Seriously? That was interesting huh?"
"I didn't know. Wala naman aa kanila ang gustong magsalita tungkol sa kanila. Hayaan na muna natin sila."
"I'll just talk to Darren, wait for me."
"Okay."
I walked towards Darren and Pearl while they are busy talking to each other. Aba't nangingiti ang gago. Parang matutunaw sa tingin niya si Pearl ah? Nage-enjoy ang tangina oh.
"Darren, can we talk?"
"Bakit ba!? Busy ako." Nakasimangot niyang sabi.
"Sandali lang 'to."
"Oo na! Teka lang Pearl ha?"
"Now tell me, kayo na ba ni Pearl?"
"Bakit mo ba----"
"Just tell me straight to the point. Dami pang satsat."
"Hindi pa."
"Are you really ready to enter a relationship dude?"
"Tinatakot mo ba 'ko?" Tanong niya.
"Huwag kang tanga. Tanong 'yon. Hindi pananakot."
"Tch oo nalang. Oo naman, handa ako talaga."
"I'll just give you some advice dude. Love is not easy as 1,2,3. You have to get through all the pain and heartaches. You have to sacrifice sometimes to make your partner happy. Some couple says that love is the key that opens the gate of happiness. But try to think about it. Is it really happiness even though it gives us pain?"
"Gago ka, Kean. Tinatakot mo talaga 'ko."
"Tangina ang shunga mo naman. Advice 'yon hindi pananakot. Pake ko sayo?"
"Kean, I've already think about that a hundred times. Same result. All I know is I love her. And no one can break us apart."
"You're the man." I said.
"Ganyan talaga pag gwapo." Pagmamayabang niya.
"Gago. Balik kana nga 'don."
"Tss, insecure ka lang sa kagwapuhan ko."
"Ah.. Kaya pala ako hinahabol ikaw naghahabol noh?" Asar ko.
"Nyenye. Babalik na 'ko dun."
"Yeah."
Darren Stanley's POV:
"Oh? Nandito kana pala?"
"Hindi, doppelganger ko lang 'to." Pamimilosopo ko kay Pearl.
