"So uhhh. What's your name again?"I finally find the courage to talk him. Unable to last just another second of awkward silence with nothing but a distracting ticking nose from the blue wall clock sounding around. I sat patiently rocking my feet two inches above the ground, and at first he doesn't answer. In fact it was as if he didn't hear me at all. As is I were just air, and though I usually don't let things like that affect me - I suddenly felt embarrassment wielding up my gut."Leif."
"What?"I turn in surprise at the sound of his voice. Cool, calm collected, and not too deep over all.
"I said my name's, Leif."He faces me. Black hair falling across his forehead. A pair of amber brown eyes staring down my light blue ones."Leif?"I repeat, in question. Our gazes leveled to each other as he sat up about five inches or so taller than me. My finger tips beginning to fiddle uneasily on my lap.
"Like the plant."He nods. A half grin plastered on his face, raising one of his cheekbone. The sun radiating off his honey skin in a soft kind of glow. Gulp. I try to recompose myself when feeling my body slipping from my seat at the sight of distraction. Carefully I ease back silently clearing my throat with a casual nod. His long fingers extending from peripheral, grazing along the flower bed's petals."How about you? What's your name?"
"...Me?...."A finger wedges into my chest. Slight pain piercing off the end of my finger, I try not to grimace. He nods with a short chuckle "..Well yeah...no one else is around" He stares down at me teasingly before I quickly hid behind a shield of my light caramel brown hair.
"Oh, I'm Poppy."
"Poppy?"It's his turn to repeat. As if quizzing to himself whether he had heard right or not. I smiled back shyly, nodding slowly."Yup. Like the flower."I say. Waiting for his reaction, I see his brows climb to his hairline. His eyes staring off thoughtfully for a second as he tapped his knee. His slim black brows scrunching together tightly just as he slowly turns back to me.
"Poppy, huh?"He grunts. Seeming to roll my name around his tongue. Turning it around his mind in thought. He grins from ear to ear."I like it."

Despite having fan casting Dylan and Lily as the main characters, you don't have to see them as the main characters. Actually they aren't the exact way I had imagined the characters like in my mind, but they are the closest to what I'd wanted them to look like and I absolutely adore both of them (: If you have any different kind of casting chose be free to share!
Happy Reading!
