The Battle Between Speedsters!

Bursting beyond Mach 4, I could hear him behind me.

"You're too slow, old man!"

"I'm 24!"

"Then it's even more pathetic, how slow you are!"

This angered Quicksilver, as he had never been beaten in a foot race before. Seeing this, Wally chose to abuse the situation.

He began jogging backwards.

"I don't know who you are, and I don't care. Just stay out of my way!"

"I can't do that!"

Quicksilver leaped, and crashed into Wally with incredible force. They crashed through two walls and rebounded off of a car, after leaving a nasty dent in the poor vehicle.

"Argh!"

"You're gonna regret that, pal!"

They ran at each other, turning invisble, as their blows connected at intervals all throughout the air. Each blow was met with another.

But they were not evenly matched.

Seeing an opening, KF threw him into the wall, and whilst he was recovering from the blow, followed up with a crazy punch into his gut.

In return, Pietro kicked him off and started running.

Meanwhile, on the Helicarrier

"What happened out there?!"

"That creep in yellow-"

"I know what he did! What I want to know, is why it worked!"

"I-" Spidey sighed. "I don't know."

"That doesn't matter right now. We sent Quicksilver out to catch our runner, but our scanners say his vitals are spiking."

"He's making Quicksilver sweat?!"

"In layman's terms, yes. We don't know how fast he can move, and we can't contact Pietro while they're moving at this speed to warn him of his vitals, or the very likely chance that the fastest man on planet Earth is too slow."

Mumbles worked their way through the group.

"But who's faster than Quicksilver?"

"We don't know. The blood at the scene doesn't match anybodies on earth, but it's definitely human and terrestial."

"What happened to Juggy?"

Nick Fury turned grim. He nodded to a nearby soldier, and they left the room. When he returned, what the team saw blew their minds.

The fabled helm of the Juggernaut,

The one that had imbued colossus with hellish power, had resisted the most powerful minds on earth, and taken blows from the hulk,

Had a crack in it.

"That can't be real."

"It is, Parker."

Fury rarely called Spidey by his name anymore.

"Our scientists say that'd he'd have to be moving 957 septillion times the speed of light to the power of gogolplexian to simply reach the density required to scratch the helm.
The helm you see was almost cracked in half. Juggernaut was found, severely wounded, several blocks from his helm."

"You sent Pietro up against that?!"

"He's our only speedster, he might -"

"Quicksilver caps out at Mach 640! He doesn't have the speed to fight that guy! This guy is an omega level mutant, mutate, metahuman, whatever! Quicksilver can't take him!"

Back to the race...

Wally had just punched Pietro 7 times, but poor Maximoff had only registered 2.

He coughed up blood.

Barry wouldn't kill. Flash doesn't kill.

Wally ran straight ahead, past the dazed Pietro, and stopped in the middle of the street. Shrouded in dust, he span off his brake, maintaining his his inertia, and when Quicksilver came towards him, it ended in an RKO that's knocked Pietro and sent him rolling into the street, multiple bones broken.

Pietro already began to heal, as Wally walked over and stared him down.

"Stay down. I'm faster."

"Maybe, but you're still pretty slo-"

Pietro's words cut short as the object he had been hiding in his left hand disappeared.

"Looking for these? You planted the Shockwave on my back when we were running, and I saw you pull out the detonator when you piled into the concrete. You can recover from your surprise in jail."

As Wally turned around, those four people from before showed up again.

"Hi. I don't think we've been properly introduced. I'm Spider-Man. Now, you can with us, or you can come with us unconscious. What's it gonna be, Speedy?"

Roy.

"I don't think I'll do either."

"As a matter of fact, I don't think any of you will be doing anything other than die. Flash is mine!"

As Wally heard the voice, he turned around, and was punched in the face by a mysterious blur.

He can't be here! How'd he survive?!

"Hello, Kid. It seems that you're the new Flash. I've come to kill you."

Wally looked up in fear, and his eyes widened.

"Thawne!?"

Another blur kicked Wally right in the gut. It then ran to its friend.

"And Zolomon.", said the blurry figures.

In unison, both new speedsters yelled,
"Die, Flash!"
