Louise's POV
"Hey mom! Can we go to the mall pleaseee" I asked with puppy dog eyes
"Sure. Wait, I know that face. You want something don't ya?" Mom asked
"Ummm... Just the August edition of Total Girl. Please! Please! Jk is on the cover of that one!" I said
"Fine." Mom simply said
I'm kinda spoiled on my parents since I'm the only child. Hooray!
"But you know, we need to buy your father a present, it's his birthday in three days." Mom whispered
"Oh right! Sure we'll find something he'll like." I said.
How could I forget my dad's birthday? My dad is working on something right now so that means he can't go to the mall and we can buy him a gift! But the truth is my dad has been wanting me to audition for TVK season 3 and I think that's what dad wanted the most
"Change your clothes now. We're now going to the mall." Mom said
"Wait a minute!" I said running to my room
"Hmm. What to wear?" I said to myself looking at my wardrobe.
We're not that rich actually, we just own a simple but comfy house with 3 bedrooms. One for, one for my mom and dad and the guest room. Anyways, I'll just pick my blue blouse, pants and pair it with sneakers. I think that's fine, I wore it then put on my watch, combed my hair, put on some perfume and put my phone and wallet in my pocket and I'm done. If I would be going somewhere, all I need would be my phone and wallet
... -At The Mall-
"You can buy your total girl on the book sale, here's the money. I'll just pick a gift for your dad. Wait for me on KFC" She said handing me the money
"Kk!" I ran towards the book sale since I'm very excited to get the August Edition of Total Girl. Goos thing, I didn't trip.
"There it is! My precious." I whispered while holding the magazing with Jk on the cover like it was a pot of gold. Then I paid it and went to KFC.
"Hmm. Where's mom?" I said until someone covered my eyes.
"Ahhh! Please don't kidnap me, I'm just a 12 year old kid and I still want see my idols..." I said to whoever's covering my eyes.
"Oa neto. Relax it's me Harry." He said. Huh, I should known. Btw, that's Harry, Harry Styles joke, it's Harry Buenavista, the heartthrob at our school but I don't see him even 1 percent handsome, just kidding maybe a little bit and he is also my best friend.
"Whatcha doing here?" He asked
"Bibili ako ng sapatos. Shoe store kasi to ehh. Joke de malamang kakain. KFC to tol" I said
"Eto naman. Nagtatanong lang bye na nga muna. May pupuntahan lang ako." He said while leaving and waving goodbye
"... There you are!" I said to mom as I finally saw her.
"Let's eat na." Mom said
"What did you buy for dad?" I asked
"A pair of shoes and a new perfume. How about you?" Mom said
"Huh? So hindi pa ako kasama diyan?" I said
"Of course not. This is MY gift." Mom said. Hays si mama talaga.
"Ughhh. Fine, maghahanap na lang regalo ko para kay dad." I said
-3 days later-
*Ringringring*
"Shut up! Shut up! Okay I'm up." I said while turning off the alarm until...
"What?! August 11 na?! Birthday na ni papa!!! Ano magandang regalo? Ano magandang regalo?" I murmured
"Diba ang gusto naman talaga ni dad mag-audition ka sa TVK?" my mind said
"Psh. Asa ka pa, I'm not good at singing." I said to myself
"Pero pwede ka namang magvoice lessons. Summer pa naman start auditions ahh. And imagine, when you audition there, you will have a chance to meet you idols..." My mind said again
She has a point. Oh, what am I saying. That's MY conscience, idiot me. Well, lemme just give it a try...
"H-happy b-birthday dad!" I said to dad stuttering
"Thanks Louise!" Dad said. I can see that he already got mom's gift since he is holding it right now.
"Uhh Dad uhh... Mag-aaudition n-na p-po ako sa TVK season 3. P-pero d-dahil summer pa po yun. Magv-voice lessons na lang po ako sa w-weekends." I said
"Really?! Sige sige. Tutulungan kita. Thank you! Thank you!" Dad said very happily. I still can't understand why he really wants me to audition
