Harry Potter vs Twilight

Why Harry Potter is better than Twilight

1. Nobody sparkles like the sun.

2. Vampires are vampires, not sparkling fairies.

3. Women and girls aren't made to look weak and pathetic. They're shown as Warriors.

4. It's not just about obsessive love, it's about love, friendship, jealousy, power and every other thing you can think of.

5. Joanne doesn't forget characters. Everyone who appeared in the first book is accounted for until the last book.

6. Girls fight their battle themselves.

7. No cliche love story between a mortal and a vampire.

8. There's humour in it.

9. Werewolves are not large dogs, they are proper frightening werewolves.

10. It makes us see the love inside everyone. 

11. It makes us more brave.

12. It makes us see that life is not just one big fairytale. Relatives, friends etc die but you have to deal with it. Nobody dies in Twilight just making life seem more like a fairytale with happy endings.

13. Harry Potter doesn't teach girls that if your love leaves, commit suicide and he'll come running back to you. It teaches you to let him go, if it's meant to be, he's always come back.

14. When Harry left Ginny, she fought back at Hogwarts. When Ron left Hermione, she continued to find the horcruxes. 

15. It teaches you to never give up hope.

16. HP fans are more open-minded. We don't judge people or movies on the basis of their looks, we look at their personalities and their talent.

17. When Harry, the main character, went to the Weasleys', they greeted him like a son and accepted him. When Bella, the main characters, went to the Cullens', they saw her as food.

18. It taught us (me, at least) the most important lesson in life. That we all have light and dark inside us, what matters is the part we choose to act on.

19. Again, NOBODY. SPARKLES.

20. Harry Potter made me care. It made me smile, it made me laugh, it made me angry, it made me weep, it made me sob.
