As a little girl I always dreamed about getting married. The walking down the isles while getting red flower petals thrown at me, the big white puffy dress and the long veil, my handsome Prince Charming waiting for me at the alter. My imagination would always run wild.
The older I got I began to picture life after the wedding. I imagined becoming a detective because I was in love with law and order, and coming home after a hard day to my loving and caring husband. Having 2 kids ( a boy and a girl), and living in a gigantic house somewhere far away from New York. But I guess reality is a bitch.
I ended up not becoming a FBI detective because my dad always told me that it was a mans job, and I wouldn't be able to handle it, So instead I ended up as a teacher to a bunch of evil and over privileged first graders. I got pregnant as soon a I graduated college by this guy I was dating, Isaiah Graham, we ended up getting married at city hall two weeks after I found out. Funny story, turns out i wasn't actually pregnant. It was a false alarm, and as much as I wanted to get rid Isaiah both of our parents were crazy religious and didn't believe in divorce, they wanted us to make this rushed ass marriage work. On top of that Isaiah didn't want kids he got a vasectomy after I told him about the false alarm so there goes the chances of me having kids. Oh, and just take a wild guess as to where I ended up living... yup you got it right New York, specifically in a small ass apartment
in Brooklyn,
the same place I spent my entire 27 year of life, aren't I just living the dream ?
