I opened my eyes and stumbled out of bed. I slowly started walking to the bathroom, i tripped on my own foot. Not to long after, Tamia came running up from behind me.
"are you alright there?"
"I'm fine." with that she helped me up and looked at me from head-to-toe.
"well i see you are very clumsy."
"well yes, i have been since i was like five maybe."
We both laughed just for a while. When danial walked in, he was super mad.
He looked like if he had just faught a shark or punched someone.
"goodmorning ladies" he says with a somewhat pissed voice
"googdmorning" i say lightly looking down
"sup" tamia says all chill like if they were friends for years. i chuckle at her response, and she just smiles my way.
"um ladies i hate to disterb but um i need privacy here" daniel says taking off his shirt. so tamia and i walk out to the roof for a bit. she looks at me cautiosly
"be careful there on the edge dont fall" of course i dont listen to her and i walk up tothe edge and yet againi tripped over my own feet making me fall over the edge. thamks to tamia being there again she grabbed me by my waist and caught me right on time. at this point we are face-to-face again. this time it was a bit romantic because she just saved my life. our forheads are touching but our was ruined yet again by carl. he looked alittle upset just a little when he saw us that close.
" carrey may i please have privacy with tamia"
"um yeah yeah of course" i say backing away from tamia and walking off giving them privacy but i still wanted to hear what they were talking about. as soon as im out of sight i can hear carl talk aggressively.
"what did i tell you tamia huh? i told you not to do this type of stuff" i just stood there confused waiting for tamia to respond.
"i didnt do it, and i wasnt going to, all i did was save her, all we did was get alittle close dad" she had already started to sob.
"listen okay your my little girl and im going to say this because i love you okay that what i saw that was not just alittle close, what if your mother saw that?"
she looks down at the top of the roof "she would be pissed" she says lightly.
"you never got a chance to tell her huh?" he says softly calming down
"no but i know i would have been thrown out at the age of 13, but well its good and bad that i never told her" that was the last thing said in the conversation she then walked into the staircase still sobbing, when she sees me at the bottom of the staircase she looked to the ground immediatly.
it was finally lunch time, i decided to skip it and avoid everyone at all costs. i was in my room trying to figure out what this mornings conversation between tamia and her father was really about and what did it mean. in the process of my thoughts i fall asleep. when i woke up about 2 hours later i wasnt in the same spot leaning up against the wall, i was laying down with the covers over me and it was very quiet.
Danial walks in with a glass of water and hands it to me "you missed lunch" he says softly
"i know i meant to"
"you know tamia was worried about you" he says sounding a bit pissed. i stood up and looked at him in the eyes
"what is your problem with her??" i ask suspicious he just looks at me, turns around, and walks out with a smirk on his face.a couple of minutes later i walk out of my room with a confused look whipped on my face, i notice carl and ian whispering to each other by the front door. i know they were talking about tamia because i saw there lips speak it.
carl spots me walking towards the roof then he stops me he wanted to ask me something but he just stood there in front of me and looked at me like if i was injured. before he could say anything tamia started screaming for him from the roof top, carl and i both ran up the stairs to see what was going on.
"look" she says pointing to the street where there was a girl about my age, she looked really tired and dehydrated. tamia walks over to me but i dont look at her she turned back looking down at the street to the girl.
"i know her" i say lighlty practically whispering to myself tamia looks at the then at her dad.
"let her in now" she says grabbing my hand lightly carl looks at us with a sure look doing as told. i basically dragged tamia down the stair with our fingures still tangled together. when the girl walks in she looks around the room but when she spots me she stops moving completly.
"carrey?" she asks softly.
i just look at her in her eyes "h-how do you know my name?" i say stuttering it out
she started walking closer to me slowly so she didnt startle meshe stoped right in front of me.
"you really dont remember me huh"
"well no i mean i dont remember anything i woke up in the hosptital"
"carrey its me anaiz" when she said thatthe name clicked her eyes getting watery. i start to walk back slowly and when i was at a good distance i run to my room. i was laying in my bed for about an hour before tamia walks in with my dinner plate.
"are you okay?" she asks softly
"yeah yeah im fine " i say back looking at her in her eyes
"dinner was done a few minutes ago but i didnt want to bother you" i justlook down with a smile on my face
"thanks" i say lighty still looking down she hands me my plate of food with a smile on her face also then she walks out a couple of seconds later she walks back in with a cup of waterthen she sat next to me.
"that girl knows alot about you carrey"
"yeah i know tamia she knows my whole life story" i say lightly starting to eat
"i dont want to ask this but carrey... who is she and how does she know you?" she didnt have to say anything more she knew to stop there she knew that what it was but i decided to not tell her tonight.
"soon" is all i said and she understood completly. i was done eating i handed my plate to tamia but before she got up and took the plate to the kitchen she leaned in i met her half way so we where in the middle of a romantic kiss on the middle of the bed.
