*Please listen to the song, Time-Bomb by All Time Low, it's the inspiration behind this story and one of my favourite songs*
You'd think after Murphy helped keep Bellamy alive when he saved Mel that he'd have been forgiven. That the two boys could have a proper friendship. That Bellamy would think Murphy wasn't crazy after all. You're wrong!
In fact, it was quite the opposite! Bellamy still couldn't even stand the sight of him. Just the thought of what he'd done to Charlotte was enough to make Bellamy angry.Did Murphy want forgiveness? Who knows? But part of me says that he does, so let's go with that! But it seemed Murphy could never have that forgiveness that he so much desired.
I guess that's why when Jaha asked him to help him find The City of Light with him, Murphy was up for it. It was an escape. A way to not have to see Bellamy and only feel regret and guilt. But as he thought further. How could he leave? How could he leave when Bellamy hated him? He knew he needed to make it up to him.
The only problem was, Murphy's way of apologising was often a fist to the face. Or sometimes even killing a person.
Murphy was a time bomb, on the verge of exploding. His outbursts were sparks that people could easily mistake for the explosion itself. The explosion was still to come. What Murphy didn't know was that Bellamy was a time bomb too. But his sparks were only set off by one thing. Murphy. And one day, those sparks would be the cause of a bigger problem. But only if it couldn't be stopped.
Could both bombs be defused before they got out of hand? Or would something worse happen?
It was just a matter of time before one exploded. Before one bomb defused the other by putting it out once and for all. By one boy killing the other. But who would it be?
