How Pokémon Created Austin, TX

The Begining

In the beginning, there were two families that were exiled. Abandoned. Lost. Wandering. The two head fathers were banished because they were "dangerous" for messing with the genetics of animals. They made up genetics, but the people found it "unethical" playing the part of "God". So they set off for the Wild West, no one knew what was over there. It was a long, hot, trip across the plains. The first family was the Johns. There was the father whose name was Lady Bird, there was the mother whose name was Monica, and they had two daughters who were named Lucile and Brianna. The second family was the same size; they were the Travis'. The father was named Austin, the mother was Nicole, and they had two sons who were named Tyler and Andrew. All four of the children were in or entering their teenage years.

They traveled until they found the Colorado River and followed it South. They walked for months until the found a small reservoir of water that seemed like a good to lace to settle. It was a lake that the Colorado River flowed into. The two men fought over whom it was going to be named after. The deal that was made stated that the Johns could name the lake as long as the whole area could be named after the Travis'. So the lake was named Lady Bird Lake and the area we know now is Travis County.

The men and the boys started to build the houses, the farms, the passages of the water sources, and tended to the crops. But they grew tired of working, for they were not used to labor of any sort. The men contemplated; maybe they didn't have to work after all. Where they were, they had so much freedom and they decided to return to their genetic work.

They started to design creatures that had elemental abilities. These abilities would help them with their work so that there was no need for adapting or problems with the atmosphere of work. They decided to make a case of some sort case, or ball, to keep these creatures in. They wanted to control them, to make them slaves, to never have to work again. But when they wandered around the lake, they found out that there were no animals to test on. There were not even fishes swimming in the lake. It was just full of plankton and amoebas. With these, they started to play God.
